Well, according to the 11 episode expert, we shouldn't have enjoyed the dancing because Sam learned the number too quickly. Granted, none of the characters had enough time onscreen to practice their performances. Frisco, of all people, finds a band and just hops on stage to sing to Felicia? The expert doesn't have a problem with that. But let someone say "Kelly did a good job in Sam's dance number" and suddenly we're hypocrites and contradictory.

We don't know how long ago Frisco might have had this as a possibility in his mind. We don't know exactly when he told Lucy. He also knows this song; it's not a new song to him.

I'm a fan of Bollywood movies, so I have liked plenty of dance numbers in unusual situations that are outside reality. I don't have an objection to that. I'm glad you liked it, as did I. But there are little touches they could have taken to improve the realism of the writing leading up to Sam's performance, and had a brief glimpse or two of her making sure her steps are right.

Anyway it's not a big deal. I'm happy you liked part of the Nurses Ball enough to rewatch it, despite not liking much of the rest of it. Sorry my opinions bother you so much. I've never called myself an expert.

Also, glad KMan101 you liked the episode as a whole!

Molly did write that number in like an hour or so. The original song she wrote, she scrapped bc she said it sucked. On Wednesday's show which was the final rehearsal, she still hadn't completed what she was working on and gave Lucy her first draft. Because of the time constraints, they went forward with it. She wasn't satisfied with it but its what they had to use bc she didn't have a lot of time to create it

WHERE WAS THE BUILDUP?! WHERE WAS THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!? WHY DIDN'T THEY ADDRESS THAT IT WAS SAM'S DEEP-ROOTED FEELINGS OF ABANDONMENT RESULTING FROM HER NOT KNOWING HER FATHER THAT CAUSED HER TO HAVE A PASSION FOR DANCE? WHY COULD SHE JUST DANCE?!?!?!?!?!?
