I was hoping Luke and Ethan would be shot and thrown off the boat. Then they can sink that ugly set while they're at it.

Those Sonny/Brenda scenes were LOL today. It felt so awkward but I kind of enjoyed it. I had to LMAO at how Carly just pegged Brenda and then Jax going on and on trying to convince himself in front of Michael that Carly was wrong. LOL.

I just can't at the soap cliche storyline that is Patrick and Sabrina. That patient who looked just fine to me going on about Sabrina, thinking Patrick got her ... wow. Ugh. I actually tolerate Sabrina when she's not all about Patrick but she's got a long way to go for me to even give two shits about her. LOL.

Ugh...MB and VM were really good today, but I hate this story. It's clear Sonny is her first choice and of course Carly has to be right about Brenda. Poor Jax...........This !@#$%^&*] is all going to be a tease because Sonny is obviously gonna choose Konnie over Brenda.

At least they seem age compatible and . I dunno. I've never been a big 'age matters' thing but I just find Sabrina far too juvenile and 'young' for Patrick who's become so stuffy in a way. I mean, she's clearly in her 20s and he clearly looks in his late 30s and sometimes 40s (while still quite good looking). IDK. It's not even the Robin thing (I really wasn't a fan of 'Scrubs' ... sorry to their fans!). It's the structure of the story and they just don't seem to go well. I just can't ever imagine them as an item but I guess we're stuck with it.

Not that I gave two shits about Helena beyond her truth-telling (or any Cassadine, for that matter), but it burns my biscuit that Ron killed her off and allowed that greasy bear retcon to live on. I want to know what organ of mine I'd have to sell in order to scrub this show of his existence for good.

I agree about Jax/Brenda/Sonny. I feel like we're about to sit through Jax and Brenda both being made fools of. It's hard to even care because we know Ingo's done taping and any idea about Vanessa? I just don't see the point except for "oooh lookie! brenda and jax!" It's all a waste of time tease.

    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
