It was pretty camp. But, I liked it...I never did watch live back then. I watched GL as a child. And, yes.. GL sucked then. It was horrible. I don't know why *I* didn't stop watching it myself.

GL got worse in 01 though. And, that's when I just canned it finally. LMAO.

Also. I think the Madam Maia storyline was liked by alot of people. Even though you disliked it. Because, it was kinda sitcom-y and those goofy buddy sitcoms were still big in reruns in 95.

Camp stuff now days is just horrible and repetitive. And, stupid.

I don't need to hear the word relish a million times. I don't need the entire canvas involved in that [!@#$%^&*].

That's how the Molly/Connie book story ends?? WTF?? rolleyes.gifrolleyes.gifrolleyes.gif

Um why did Molly continue the book signing? Why does she even want her name re-printed on the book still? Shouldn't she go revise it to what she originally had planned first? What was the point of having those horny bitches come up to Molly praising her for her sexy stories - Didn't they just hear Connie confess that it was her who wrote them?! And even if they didn't, didnt they know it was Connie Falconeri's book signing they were attending?! OMG! DUMB!

Um, werent you the one that got pissed off and referred to people as a-holes when they said they'd drop the show when the OLTLers left bc the ratings would drop and GH theoretically could get cancelled. Isnt that pretty much what you plan on doing when the vets leave?

I think a lot of people actually got really tired of the Madame Maia story after it started to drag on. The part most people enjoyed and remember (with the cross dressing) actually came at the end of a long tedious story that seemed to drag and go on forever before they actually got anything funny or interesting happening. The beginning was nothing but Lucy and this women sitting around talking about Lucy's "visions" of Kevin and Ryan.

    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
    • @Efulton thank you. I don't know how I missed it or didn't recall it.  I'll blame amnesia . Anyway @Errol Could the newer thread be merged to the existing? Thanks in advance.
    • I just finished watching and I have to admit, not once did I find myself wondering who wasn't there. Quick question for anyone who followed this better than I did: was it only Andrew who rescued Cat and John from Clyde, or was Shane involved too? The reactions during their scenes today felt a little off to me. I know it was meant to be vague, but I didn't find it strange that they already knew each other.
    • Yeah, financially, Luna is in better shape than Deacon and Sheila.   -- Scott Clifton must have decided to chew the scenery in every scene of this "Liam is Dying" storyline. Yikes.
    • If J.R. wasn't busy with Ewing Oil, he'd be a heckuva soap recapper. He was SO gleeful at recapping Jenna-Bobby-Pam when the trio and Mark encountered each other at the Oil Baron's Ball. That being said, Lucy, presumably Sue Ellen and maybe Ray should all know this story, or at least part of it. Lucy was definitely at Southfork during Jenna and Bobby's relationship, and I believe Sue Ellen was about to marry J.R. around the time Jenna jilted Bobby. (Ray might not have given a damn.)
