March 15, 201312 yr Member Trying to watch this episode of GH now. It's so silly. I can't with this [!@#$%^&*] anymore.
March 15, 201312 yr Member Not in its defense, but I will say that while I loved Kevin and Lucy I couldn't watch the Mother Maia or whatever story back in the day. I think I turned to GL. And GL was wretched.
March 15, 201312 yr Member I don't see how. I have things I enjoy that are very intellectually stimulating and then I just have pop trash that I can relax with. The last couple months of GH and the ongoing, delightful mess that is Smash among them. I think most of us have those different types of entertainment in our lives, depending on the different moment. I spent half the day working on a writing deadline and I could've gone out and seen a Godard movie, but it was a headache of a day and I just figured I might as well stay home, watch Kelly Sullivan embarrass herself and save something truly stimulating like Godard or Life of Pi for tomorrow when my eyes don't hurt. We all have ways we unwind. I'll have to take your word for it. My tongue is too short. I'm trying to get that qualified as a disability.

And GL was wretched. It was pretty camp. But, I liked it...I never did watch live back then. I watched GL as a child. And, yes.. GL sucked then. It was horrible. I don't know why *I* didn't stop watching it myself. GL got worse in 01 though. And, that's when I just canned it finally. LMAO. Also. I think the Madam Maia storyline was liked by alot of people. Even though you disliked it. Because, it was kinda sitcom-y and those goofy buddy sitcoms were still big in reruns in 95. Camp stuff now days is just horrible and repetitive. And, stupid. I don't need to hear the word relish a million times. I don't need the entire canvas involved in that [!@#$%^&*]. Edited March 15, 201312 yr by Golden Duck
March 15, 201312 yr Member I think that story was basically GH bowing to the vocal backlash over being too depressing.
March 15, 201312 yr Member You don't care about Rafe? Who exists to be part of McBoxOfPain? Wtf is wrong with you? Don't you see? GH can't survive without McUseLess. And McUseless can't survive without something to make him sad. Which makes him horny. I just laughed at the thought of "sadness makes John horny" LMAO. It's kinda true. I think that story was basically GH bowing to the vocal backlash over being too depressing. probably. At least when GH was depressing back then it was good. Now, it's depressing in an entirely different way. Edited March 15, 201312 yr by Golden Duck
March 15, 201312 yr Member Yeah that's the only healthy way to approach it. You'll love the talk of scoping his its stomach as absolutely thrilling then, I'm sure. Slurp.
March 15, 201312 yr Member Are you talking about Spin there? Well, was Alexisfan? I'm more meh...."bitchy" about who else they are going to involve in the relish stuff. Ya'll know from yesterday.... I'm going to start saying hypnorelish all the time though. LMAO.

March 15, 201312 yr Member I'm not going to after the vets leave. Until then. I'm stuck with this [!@#$%^&*].
March 15, 201312 yr Member That's how the Molly/Connie book story ends?? WTF?? Um why did Molly continue the book signing? Why does she even want her name re-printed on the book still? Shouldn't she go revise it to what she originally had planned first? What was the point of having those horny bitches come up to Molly praising her for her sexy stories - Didn't they just hear Connie confess that it was her who wrote them?! And even if they didn't, didnt they know it was Connie Falconeri's book signing they were attending?! OMG! DUMB!
March 15, 201312 yr Member So what if the vets don't leave, then you're stuck watching Oh goody, Rafe is on tomorrow. Can John take him with him when he drops off the face of GH? Yay, my Rafe is back at last now bring on some Rafe/Molly. I like her and TJ, so I'm torn lol

Um, werent you the one that got pissed off and referred to people as a-holes when they said they'd drop the show when the OLTLers left bc the ratings would drop and GH theoretically could get cancelled. Isnt that pretty much what you plan on doing when the vets leave?
March 15, 201312 yr Member I'm not going to after the vets leave. Until then. I'm stuck with this [!@#$%^&*]. I guess you're going to have to keep watching because I doubt Anthony Geary and Finola Hughes are going anywhere.

I think a lot of people actually got really tired of the Madame Maia story after it started to drag on. The part most people enjoyed and remember (with the cross dressing) actually came at the end of a long tedious story that seemed to drag and go on forever before they actually got anything funny or interesting happening. The beginning was nothing but Lucy and this women sitting around talking about Lucy's "visions" of Kevin and Ryan. Edited March 15, 201312 yr by AdelaideCate007
