I hope they keep it. There's so few scenes between the girls they can't afford to cut any. If you look in the background you can see Jeffrey sitting on the couch. He's the wearing the same shirt in one of the clips where he calls Michelle batshit crazy. Something has happened. I wonder if Michelle has done something to Drew.

Forget swearing!!! Here's the PP news we've been waiting for. I was too excited to search for the labor dispute thread.

http://www.deadline.com/2013/06/prospect-park-resolves-dispute-with-iatse-over-all-my-children-one-life-to-live/

All My Children and One Life To Live producer Prospect Park and IATSE Local 52 have resolved the labor issues that led to the two soaps going on hiatus 11 days earlier than planned. In light of the dispute, Prospect Park also was considering moving production of the two shows, based in Stamford, Conn., to another state. Now they will stay put and return to production as planned on August 12.

Speaking on behalf of the New York Production Locals, Local 600 Representative David Blake stated, “We are pleased that that the parties were able to successfully address their concerns in a mutually beneficial way, which will enable these innovative shows to continue to be produced with our talented crews.”

“We thank the entire I.A.T.S.E. organization for their continued support in bringing these shows to fans, and we especially appreciate the efforts of Chaim Kantor and John Ford and our entire crew for helping us to move forward as a unified team,” said Jeff Kwatinetz

Also if anyone feels super strongly about the cursing, the TOLN AND OLTL twitters are now encouraging you to vote in a new SOD poll (hashtag spreadlove- how does one apply to take over the twitter for these shows?). http://www.soapoperadigest.com/poll/1107819/results

Oh I know- I posted it mostly because I thought it was hilarious they're asking people to vote in this AFTER they made the announcement with hashtags #speadlove and #foulmouth.

Honestly, the cursing thing is whatever now for me- I'm too happy to hear the labor dispute is over to be annoyed.

I would say maybe an hour and ten minutes? There wasn't much after you stopped listening- he took a few more calls where fans could say their favorite moments (I think one agreed on Viki and one said the Dorian/David/Shaun/Jack/Sam scene) or comment on the Jeff interview & then was putting on the AMC theme after he plugged next week again which is when I turned off.

    • I'll add that I did think the Bill/Smitty scenes were the best--played really well.
    • I am loving that Anita's story is off and running. And it's a slow burn.   OOoooo another Bill/Smitty scene. But I'm loving that the seed that Bill planted has really been growing over yesterday and now today's episode. Cuz Smitty going to Nicole...uh oh now.    Kat continues to be smart and love it. But hopefully she realizes she's getting played by Silk Press Sheila.    And probably in the minority, but I do like the June storyline so far. And it has not stalled really at all. It feels organic in terms of pacing.
    • Well I'm always here for people singing my song when it comes to the New/Old writers. lol.  Same.   Also same.
    • I got the feeling she's always been slightly too flirty with him?  But this brings up a comment I've had whenever I see Vanessa with these weird men (or was this one we've seen before) who she has role play sex hijinks with...  They always just come off as plain bizarre.  This guy followed her in the middle of the day to a cafe?  The dialogue always seems like they want to push the boundaries too with what they can say but then just comes off as incredibly weird (something about what she did with her foot?) And oh yes, let's go to an underground/backroom casino to try to raise money for our new upstart agency? I hate to say it, and I didn't catch the writers for this episode, but I felt this was another episode like some past ones where the dialogue throughout sounded off and not natural--and too filled with references and metaphors that maybe looked nice on paper but not so much when people say them. (Oh and random--why cast a day actor as a surgeon for a tiny scene and then reveal in the next hospital scene that he can't do it because of a family emergency?  Just... kinda weird.)
    • Oh, lord. I was hoping that Doug would be in June's surgery for a while. Now I'm afraid that she's going to run right into Dani and Pamela.
    • The shirtless scenes increased under Nicholson as EP with Quinn, Hogan etc. They had focused on Steve Kendall under Joanna Lee in 1983 but not much bare skin on SFT overall.  Louanne was a terrible recast. And don't get me started on Pam Long's horrible final six months as head writer with the Ireland plot and the convoluted Judge Henderson plot. I watched it daily until the end and cannot summarize either plot.
    • Running in late and a bit out of order cuz yesterday was a mess but since I'm here...   So far I am liking that there are a lot of hotties and bubbles on display. lol.   A lot of plot is moving and/or being touched on. Right down to ANOTHER of Vanessa's many men. He was cute and bubbled, too.    So far, I'm not feeling SilkPress vs NuTed.
    • I am really struggling with all this Dante Doesn't Like Gio stuff. Would Gio be engaged in this many conversations about how angry Dante is with him? It's overboard and forced beyond belief. I get it. The writers want to create friction between Gio and Dante before the paternity reveal. I just think it should be much more natural and organic. GH has had MANY MONTHS to create this drama, and instead woke up and said "We gotta go at this hard, because we're out of time."
    • These episodes Mitch S. is uploading. Numerous male actors performed their scenes without a shirt. While John Conboy started the trend, it seems that "Search" picked up where Conboy left off. On another note, Louan Gideon seems to be on everyday in the episodes Mitch S. is uploading. It must have been a letdown when she had no storyline in the final months of "Search" after Jacquline Shultz became David Forsythe's new leading lady. Even Marcia McCabe had a storyline those final months. But Louan had nothing to do once Hogan was paired up with Patti.
