And what is sad is that I did watch Days during the time of Mcpherson's stint.. and the first two or three months was pretty good.. then all of a sudden there was so much whip lash over stories starting and ending that you know there was some disagreements backstage.

Jack had PTSD, they focused on his therapy sessions with Marlena plus the support group. They had a new female character whose dad abandoned the family for another woman and she was determined to not be poor and to become successful.. plus ran her own cosmetic company.

Watching these initial stories, I thought to myself (shame that AMC is ending because this writer would be great on the show.) So i was kind of happy that she was selected.

I will miss the old theme, but I do actually quite like the new song.

While not nationally, maybe...in some markets (particularly NY), DAYS was pushed back an hour to 2:00 PM a few seasons ago. I want to say 2009-2010...

LOL I meant theme song, not timeslot I think Bold is the only soap who ahsn't changed their timeslot (although here on the West coast we get it at 12:30 whereas I know East Coast it's at 11 or something).

Pretty much. I know many fans hated it, but I felt it had more in common with the original opening and with "As the World Turns On and On" than did the others.

Days was moved back to 1 pm in NYC. For a short time it was on at 2 pm after Passions was cancelled. In NYC, B&B is on at 1:30 in the afternoon with Y&R at 1230.
