I know Debbi morgan tweeted me back awhile back reassuring me that she and Dr. David would still be clashing.. though I hope that they are still friends that are clashing over medical issues. You can still be friendly and take opposite sides on medical and hospital issues.

Regarding Dixie/Tad, I'm hoping she is sad that he isn't in town.. and not that he is in a coma. Perhaps during the 5 year jump that the two had changed so much that they parted ways.. not helped by her wanting to be there for JR while Tad was having a harder time forgiving him. It will be interesting to see how the show explains Dixie being on minus Tad.

Hopefully, Erica is still in Pine Valley but isn't being shown. I also hope that she is single cause I'm one of the view that didn't want to see Erica/Jack part 500. Erica is a big enough character to go solo once Susan is able to film scenes. Watching those clips, the show will feel different without Erica in it. Not a bad different, but different nonetheless.

I'm wondering if Cara lost the baby, gave up the baby, and how she is truly feeling toward David right now.

Also, will be intrigued to see what drove Zach and Kendall apart. Would he have changed due to his time in a coma and she couldn't handle/understand it? Did her brief relationship with Griffin while Zach was 'died' have weighed heavily on him that they drifted apart?

Looking forward to Jesse/Angie and seeing how they have come closer together in the last five years. Plus, hope to have mentions of what Frankie and Natalia are up to as well even if they aren't shown on screen.

Lastly, will be interested in how they position Opal since she anything but a traditional soap matiarch.

I liked that both shows seem to have a completely different look and feel. On ABC we know that Frons tried to make them all similar and I found that a big failure. I'm glad they'll have their own uniqueness. Another thing I loved was seeing the location shooting,. I was worried we wouldn't have that and I feel in order for these shows to truly be viable they need location shooting to modernize things. I would love them to have something similar to B&B, which has studio stuff, but regularly goes on location, but to the same few places which adds familiarity and also keeps costs down.

As for the actual content, I wasn't impressed. I've always said I need to see the new AMC before I can make a judgement, because I'm not excited by headwriter choices. Based on what I saw, I'm not too sure. Killing off Marissa seems stupid for many reason. One we've already seen David lose several kids, not to mention they're also suggesting a story where his child with Cara might be dead. You don't need two similar stories at once. Plus, it took a long time to develop a successful love interest for Bianca, so why kill her off? Especially since this show probably won't have the time to develop a new love interest for Bianca. Having Marissa as a recurring character (either new actress or recast) to support Bianca and David would've worked better.

Of course the show could be great (and I'll be watching to find out), but I just need to see it to know for sure.

Everyone loves the fantastic "Dr. Evil"! I don't think Jesse will go for much of a friendship since he only tolerates David, at least from the finale of the ABC show run.

Angie and Jesse always in the annals of Daytime history!!!

Always remember what David tried to do to Jesse, Frankie. David did things to try to ruin the Hubbard family. So what is up with Angie and David being friends? I think maybe a friendly relationship but nothing else. Jesse has an "edge" so he will keep David in check.

I don't think Marissa is dead either. I think Adam did something underhanded to run her out of town and get custody of AJ. Dixie backed Adam, which caused her to split with Tad. Brooke didn't approve of Adam's methods but stayed with him and helped him raise his grandson.
