Actual young women, their (alleged) target demo, don't want to see this. Gay men don't want to see this (we (well, I do) like our women strong). Hell, normal straight guys don't want to see this!

It's really maddening. You can write stories without dehumanizing women. If this is what we're getting what is the point off watching? This isn't progressive at all.

I really REALLY hope these sides are just to gauge the actors ability to play various emotions and not their intention with the storylines.

If the filming schedule allows for flexible schedules for other projects, I think most of them would be open to it at least, especially if they're based on the East Coast.

Angela, does it sounds like the character in question could be Natalia? Is anything said about her personality or relationship to Jesse?

Frankly, I think Natalia is too old for this type of story. I think it's Cassandra, especially given the fact that she lives in Europe. Unless Jesse has another family we don't know about.

There's no reason the woman in this story can't be written and played as strong. Strong is what happens when faced with adversity.

That would make a lot of sense (didn't she move back there to model, or did we ever find out?) Natalia is a strong cop--unless this is a sting that goes horribly wrong or something convulated it makes little sense to me.

You know, Maybe OLTL and AMC are doing similar stories so they can act as companions as they once were. Maybe it is the SAME story!! If so, I am all for that!

What I do like is Jesse is definitely the Liam Neeson character. The lead. Zach is more the sidekick who has European sources/contacts.

I can totally see Zach being all,

I'm copying the information Angela shared in the PP thread so that we can discuss it without spoiler tags.

Scripts are up for Uri and Vlad. This is probably going into spoiler territory as these scripts have an episode number (1006).

Jesse and Zach are working together to find someone close to Jesse. She is named "Regina" which I'd assume is code name for a Hubbard family member. Uri and Vlad clearly want to sell "Regina" into prostitution. She's tied to a bed, has ripped clothes and they're trying to get her hooked on drugs.

Re the spoiler, PP seems to be liking stories like this on both shows. I guess it boils down to how the execution is. But if this is what they mean by edgier stories (I mean the Destiny one too) I kinda shake my head...

I'm actually wondering if there is a connection within the stories on the two shows, i.e. Destiny's mother is a Hubbard.
