The lighting is FAIL. Makes them look waxy, as if they're about to melt.

I like the idea of the promo, and I don't think they look that bad, considering Muhney is rough looking as hell and Goddard isn't far behind.

My only real complaints would be the horribly cheesy and embarrassing line about charm the pants, and also that I have no idea what Filler Miller is saying. No idea at all.

Nice concept lighting fail though. I heard some call this misogynistic because there's no female promo. I'm glad there's no female promo. We don't don't need a promo advertising that the women of Genoa City are boring sluts.

Yeah, it was a good idea with poor execution.

And yes, it would've been a better tableau had Alex and Mason been added.

Had it been up to me, (assuming there was enough $ in the budget), I might have shot 2 or even 3 promos-- or edited the footage so that we get 3 separate segments.

In each segment, 3 maybe 4 guys speak and just rotate until we get each guy's reveal (with accompanying clip/scene). Air each segment separately as its own self-contained promo for how ever long they air these spots.

And yes, definitely better lighting!

Nice promo, but I have to agree that Mason and Alex should have been included. Noah too. I can't think of the last time that Y&R has had to many good looking younger men. Too bad these guys (excluding Tyler) are not half as interesting on the show.
