The problem is that Sami should never be in the middle of a triangle. It's completely out of character for her to not know exactly what she wants and go after it come hell or high water. Indecisive Sami is pure crap.

I disagree with that. This triangle is far from great or anything, but I absolutely think Sami is very viable to be in the middle of a triangle. The issue is this triangle isnt about her, it doesnt even revolve around her. Shes a supporting player when she should be the driving force in it. She simply reacts to what EJ and to what Rafe do and thats the issue.

I left one month after, and this was part of the reason. The destruction of the supercouples and the continuation of this abominable mess known as Days of Sami's Vagina.

Theres nothing for Sami to react to as he doesnt do anything but react to what goes on with her and Rafe. He just stands on the sidelines and when they seem to be in trouble, he is there to pick up the pieces, but then backs off when she gets back with Rafe. Thats been EJ's MO since late summer. He isnt the driving force of anything and Sami most definetly is the star of this triangle.

Even now, she is reacting to Rafe and running to EJ. And when the truth comes out about Gabi and the blackmail she will do it again because thats what she does, react to them.

Sami has no motivation or drive. She just goes with the flow and thats why she currently sucks. She lacks direction and focus. I think Will's baby at least finally gives her something to fight for, bc thats certainly not something she's had to do with this fickle triangle.

I guess i classify a lead/star as someone who drives story. A good girl, an ingenue can absolutely be a lead - Marlena and Belle come to mind first for days - but they have to lead as those women do, and sami has in the past. Leading doesnt mean being the catalist for what happens, but all of samis actions are actually reactions to what the men in her life do, and that would still be lead except the way its done is very much supporting to me. She props rafe. she props ej. she supports them. Literally any woman could be in samis spot. Sweeney is without doubt the female lead on days, the star of the show, but she feels very, very supporting in this triangle now and has for awhile.

From the little I do see, can that not be argued for all the characters involved. The Sami can't pick a man story with the 3 same guys is just so old that it just seems like recycled garbage where nothing really evolves.

She really needs a strong story outside of a man. I did see some of her scenes with Rafe's little sister. The evil baby grandma story could be kind of fun.
