Members YRBB
Not what I was expecting - Cher, who stars in the Mamma Mia sequel, just announced her next album will be all covers of ABBA songs. I wanted new material, but that could be very, very good.
Members YRBB
Cher will drop "Dancing Queen" on September 28th! Even though the title is a little predictable, dancing queen is just such a Cher album title! Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! will be the first single
Members Bright Eyes
Why did that sound like Madonna’s Hung Up? Edited August 9, 2018 by Bright Eyes
Members I Am A Swede
You do know that Madonna sampled "Gimme Gimme Gimme" on "Hung Up", right?

Members Khan
Is that a music video or a screen saver set to music? I wish Cher would release an all-new album of pop standards someday. Just her royal Cherness and an orchestra, or maybe a small jazz combo, singing a bunch of tried-and-true songs about love lost, love found, and love denied. Call me crazy, but I think she would kill it. Edited August 10, 2018 by Khan
Members Soaplovers
I know her last interesting concept was the It's a Man's World cd where she put a feminine POV to male written/sung songs (walking in memphis was epic). With that said, I like her take on Fernando.. it fits her voice well.. but I don't think all of Abba's songs will fit her voice.

Members Khan
Thank God the track was pre-recorded, because that was one of the most lifeless, on-air performances I've ever seen from Cher.
Members I Am A Swede
Well, to be fair to Cher the song's lyrics aren't exactly bubbling with excitement and happiness..... Members YRBB
I haven't seen Ellen's Cher episode yet, I will soon. I may skip the performance of SOS, though, cos there are some ABBA songs on her new album I've never heard, so they'll be like new to me when the album comes out! Please register in order to view this content And I'm so glad she's going on tour again. I MUST try to see her this time.... Meanwhile, another great interview, as per usual: Please register in order to view this content Edited September 9, 2018 by YRBB
Members Khan
Cher: "I was [shaking] with Katharine Hepburn." Harry Smith: "Well, she was shaking, too." That's because she had Parkinson's, you douchenozzle. If I had been Cher, I'd have kicked him in the nuts (presuming, of course, he had any), declared the interview over, and then walked away.
