January 11, 201313 yr Member Please no stuttering vagrants on GH. We already have Spinelli. HA! Though I'd rather him than Spinelli (OK, that's hardly an endorsement...)
January 11, 201313 yr Member "TV Guide Magazine: What's up with this talk of a vampire storyline related to the events of the short-lived GH spin-off Port Charles? Valentini: We're not doing vampires. Because we have Michael (Easton, who plays John) and Lynn who were both on Port Charles with Kelly, we're just doing a nod." Well, someone should inform his partner-in-crime, Ron Carlivati, because he tells TVG this is no quick gimmick (his words, not mine).
January 11, 201313 yr Member I think you're kind of overthinking this. Ron and Frank have done these kind of weird side stories many times.
January 11, 201313 yr Member That's true, but I can't think of a time (and I'm probably forgetting an example) when they've worked out... I guess some of the OLTL 40th did, and some really didn't (IMHO). But yeah I don't think FV and RC's comments necessarily contradict each other.
January 17, 201313 yr Member Please no stuttering vagrants on GH. We already have Spinelli. Bradford Anderson and Brian Gaskill look alike. They both have drooping eyes. Maybe Rafe and Spinelli are related? Edited January 17, 201313 yr by GregNYC
January 17, 201313 yr Member I love this story, think it's a great way to tie in history and the actors. Lucy is herself and in Port Charles, then you have KM's Sam and ME's John who are in Port Charles but obviously not who they were during PC and then there's Duke. There's Kevin and Scotty coming. I like that they're at least addressing it instead of pretending otherwise. Like Sarah Brown's new character of Claudia.

January 17, 201313 yr Author Member Didn't Ian actually see Patrick's ghost at one point? It seemed odd that they bothered making them twins... (Of course apparently Patrick isn't dead but the back of the head of an extra we now know, but seeing someone's ghost and having them come back from he dead is nothing new on soaps). I didn't remember "Marty" as their sister though LOL! Sigh--must search on youtube. Ian and Patrick aren't twins, Ian is older. It's like Lorenzo and Luiz Alcazar on GH lol
January 21, 201313 yr Member Fate and Time in a Bottle were both panned by the soap press, although by that time it was full of the likes of Hinsey. Tainted Love was the main one that got praise. I preferred Time in a Bottle, mostly because Jay Pickett was a better actor in a few months than anyone in Tainted Love has been their entire career. Unfortunately the show mostly saw the short-term strength of Tainted Love and ran it into the ground, and continue to do so today with the Sam/John heavy breathing contests. Yeah I think Tainted Love was the best arc they did personally as it was the best character piece out of everything in terms of utilizing the entire cast in a compelling umbrella storyline. Literally everyone was involved in some way or another during Tainted Love. Everyone in the cast had a part to play and were connected. I would say I hated Tempted though, as Tainted Love had a pretty great conclusion and Tempted limped the entire time trying to drag out the small success Tainted Love had by bringing Caleb back after a pretty great death scene. I would say PC suffered from not having great ideas to follow up Tainted Love though, more then anything else. For instance the successive arcs like Secrets and Torn had horrible premises. Evil candles, heaven purgatory and then the devil trying to mess with an angel's love life never made that much sense. The motivation was also quite sketchy. I feel that the show mostly saw the star appeal of the three leads at the time: Erin, Kelly and Brian and just decided to throw things up in the air and see how they worked. It doesn't surprise me that PC asked ME back though, as Caleb (and Caliva) were insanely popular for the show and even became bigger then Livvie's flagship (and popular) pairing with Jack (which I much preferred). PC kind of drew itself into a corner once they made the entire show revolve around basically four characters (much like AMC did with Slavery). Edited January 21, 201313 yr by Skin
January 28, 201313 yr Member Did Lucy see Jed Allan's Edward during Lila's funeral? Wasn't he someone on PC as well?
January 29, 201313 yr Member Once again 3 OLTL charcters on contract & two recuring is not an invasion or take over
