I was reading on the ABC boards and found a topic about the Cassadines. Apparently this person heard some spoilers so I thought I'd post them and see what you all thought.

Valentin Cassadine is going to be cast with Peter Reckell

Victor Cassadine is coming back to Port Charles

Stavros and Stefan Cassadine may be coming back from the dead

Helena Cassadine has big plans for Port Charles in 2013

So what do you guys think? Do you think these rumors are true and are you guys up for a resurgence of the Cassadine family?

Things that involve "casting" spoilers like that always seem like wishful thinking to me. Although I would very much like to see Helena having a big plot next year!

True enough, but I still hear people say "when will they get their Cassadine on," and so on. I don't really associate them with the Cassadines (although I will amend that if Helena decides to acknowledge Molly long enough to ship her to Siberia).

Exactly. The mere mention of Reckell made me think that given the RKK Stavros/Bo Brady connection.

I do think Ron is probably chomping at the bit to resurrect the Cassadines. I think 2013 will probably give him that opportunity. I kind of hope he does, in a sense, but the canvas is already becoming pretty packed.

If this is true I expect there will soon be an announcement about Genie Francis returning as Laura as well.

Id love for RKK to return. I hated that he exited so early. He was one of my favorite soap actors and so much more could have been done with Stavros. While we're at it, can we bring back SN as Stefan as well?
