Members Cheap21
MTV is about to debut yet another reality series. Looks like they are about to put Washington Heights on the map and I guess this could be considered the Dominican version of The Hills. Ive known some people from there. I'll check it out http://media.mtvnservices.com/embed/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:862499/cp~series%3D2214%26seriesId%3D39958%26channelId%3D1%26id%3D1698383%26vid%3D862499%26instance%3Dmtv%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A862499" width="512" height="288" frameborder="0">Get More:Washington Heights, Full Episodes

Members London
I might give this a shot --- those two brothers are kinda hot.
Members quartermainefan
How odd. Washington Heights has been slowly gentrifying for 20 years. I don't think it actually is like what this show is making it out to be. I know so many people who live there, and this is not them.
Members Antoyne
Ill watch this before I even consider the redneck show.
Members JackPeyton
This is the new The Hills. Buckwild is the new Jersey Shore. And i love them all, no shame. Judge away, soap opera fans...
Members VirginiaHamilton
My thoughts exactly, though I'll add that the gentrification has accelerated over the past 5-7 years. If MTV were serious in following the lives of young Boricuas and DR's in their ungentrified neighborhoods, they'd be better off hitting up Corona or Bushwick. Members Eric83
LMAO, just thought about a thread on the Kardashians and someone said reality TV was for people with low IQs and you were like... but you watch soaps.
Members SFK
This looks boring. I lived a little further south in Hamilton Heights, and while I can agree to an extent with the previous comments about gentrification, there is still a very strong latino population that has thrived in the area for decades whether those are the people you know or not. Now, do the folks in this clip remind me of the people I came into contact with day in and day out on the street and in local shops? No.
Members SFK
My initial reaction was that these people are too normal, level-headed and real, zzzzzzzzzzzz. I'm slightly ashamed to admit that my interest didn't really pique until the Reyna/Eliza catfight. I actually think the scenario here would make for a much better scripted drama than a reality show. I'm still going to stick with it because I do find the people interesting. It's the situations that are kind of mediocre.
Members AllMyDaysatGH
100% agreed with your post. I wanted to like this show but the stories seem pretty humdrum so far. I'm going to stick with it and see how the next few eps go though. I do like the people and I LOVE how the show looks visually. I'm looking forward to seeing Ludwin break up with his boring, debbie downer biotch girlfriend! OMG. I would've done it right after that picnic. I could never stand to be with a girl like that. Members Cheap21
This show is so The Hills. In the opening monologue, JP even says this is not the Hollywood Hills, but MTV is clearly going with that vibe with how this is presented Frankie looks so generic with her long hair. She looks much better when she cuts it I like white girl! Reyna annoyed me. I didnt like her hating on Eliza. Bitch dont know how to act. I loved that JP's mom put her in check. I think they need to put subtitles on Reyna bc whens he was spazzing out, I couldnt tell if she said "I dont like when people call me dumb" or "I dont like when people talk me down" Overall I liked this show better than Buckwild. I loved the friendship between these guys and them seem alot more genuine. I like that its not a ratchet mess. I think that would ruin the vibe here but IA that they are a bit too normal, but then again thats how the people were on The Hills as well. Maybe this show starts slow and things will pick up later in the season. They need a good feud , but right now that definetly isnt Reyna and Eliza. Members SFK
She said "calm me down". I was also glad that JP's mom put her in check, it was that old school "I'm not your mama but I'll whip your ass too because this is how our community rolls" type thing. Reyna looked like she got her head bashed into the concrete a good few times. I think she's pretty, attitude issues aside. Frankie seems way too thirsty for Ludwin. Members Cheap21
LOL...like I said, bitch needs subtitles. She is reminding me of Joseline Herenandez from Love and Hip Hop in that sense
Members AllMyDaysatGH
Well, damn. Those were some raw, compelling moments with Ludwin and his little brother in the latest episode. I was really into the drama there with them and also Ludwin/Diana. Thank god they broke up. That girl is the WORST I have ever seen. I really would go completely nuts if I was ever with someone like her. I think she couldn't wait for the relationship to be over, she just didn't want to be the one to end it. I like Reyna, you guys...LOL! She's cool. The only one I'm really not feeling is JP and he seems to be the star of the show. Something about him just...is annoying to me. Frankie too.
