HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

  • Member

WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

We've named all these ATWT people who could be JR and I forgot one more big one. Jesse Lee Soffer, is he doing anything?

She'd make a cute Miranda. But man, Eden Riegel and Christina Lind would have a rough time making that work.

And it's "Jordan."

Confirmed today that it's true. There's more cast that won't be revealed until either later this week or next. If not either, April!!!

Confirmed that what's true? That there is more cast under wraps? Good news, but how many more returnees could they have signed at this point when it's just a 30-minute soap? With so many big names already announced, I can't think which returnees they could be keeping secret. Unless it's a real coup like Rebecca Budig, I don't see the point. I want to knoooow, haha.

I don't think I will be able to hold out until April to find out who JR is.

Yeah, a lot of these actors we're naming for JR are either too young or too old, but it's well nigh impossible to get the perfect age for someone who is both a father of a teen and a son of Cady McClain/Dixie.

Glad the new actress is so excited and glad the casting people like her so much. I guess she's Miranda or Colby?

You can see Jordan Lane in this short film "Double Fault." (2010) She's playing the character of Siena! (the girl who asks to be taken home)

I can see her being Mirranda. It seems like she can carry Bianca's repressed behavior but she can be fierce like Erica. Like how I pictured Mirranda to be. A combo of her grandma and mother.

If Miranda is that old, AJ would be that old too, and that really makes it even harder to cast JR. I was thinking early teens for both of them.

Unless Cady McClain got flowers from Frank Rich and Jeff Kwatinetz at Prospect Park because she agreed to wear aging makeup every episode! Haha.

Someone, please explain to me the timeframe here. I'm seeing talk of a "five-year jump" and also talk of SORASing the babyswitch kids. Are both of these things happening, and if so, at what age does that put the two of them? Because I'm gonna have a frightfully hard time accepting that girl as Miranda.
