I personally wasn't watching through those recasts but I feel like the person who holds the role longest and/or someone that has become famous for playing the role are ones that are synonymous with the roles, not that your feelings toward other recasts don't matter. But do people really have strong feelings for the Jamie that was on before Justin Bruening? That's all I meant.
