HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

  • Member

WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Dragonflies, will you get a grip? PP IS TRYING. No doubt about it. Just because last time things fell apart last time doesn't mean they will fail this time. They hired good/logical choices to helm these shows (Thom and Susie for OLTL and Ginger Smith for AMC). They have proved that they care about the soaps!

Caucasian is beginning to lose all meaning to me.

Curious to see who these three will turn out to be. I'm sure we'll figure it out soon enough.

I definitely agree with marceline's post on the recasts. THANK YOU for saying that.

Same.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone. I personally wasn't watching through those recasts but I feel like the person who holds the role longest and/or someone that has become famous for playing the role are ones that are synonymous with the roles, not that your feelings toward other recasts don't matter. But do people really have strong feelings for the Jamie that was on before Justin Bruening? That's all I meant.

I do. laugh.png I really liked Micah Alberti's Jamie and to this day I would take him over Bruening in a heartbeat.

LOL fair enough, I stand corrected :)

Jacob Young was a good JR. But an irreplaceable recast? Hell no. This dude ain't Laura Spencer.

I agree.

Bruening was forgettable to me. I feel like Brooke's only real child deserved more.
