EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

As shady as I remember PP being, a dude named "Foz" with his background (and tumblr) never inspired much but the side-eye from me, and this behavior is insane and juvenile - when they fired him, my first reaction was that they might actually be getting serious.

IMO, they are neither. They are continuations, although "reboots" is easier for me to type.

His little note would seem to indicate he simply can't be there after the 8th due to "ongoing legal [issues]." I imagine once those are ironed out, anything can happen.

Or maybe I'm just projecting because I really like John and Sam, I enjoy him on GH more than I ever did on OLTL and I desperately want Natalie Banks free of him. YMMV.

I heard a rumor of some lovely people who were going to stop by the studio for a certain riff raff's birthday. Some others who wanted to deliver a cake. Even more wonderful folks who wanted to send cards and treats and I want you to know I am incredibly humbled by these gestures but unfortunately I will not be around to enjoy them. I've been informed, that due to some ongoing legal this and that, I cannot be at "General Hospital" after February 8th and since I know many of you go to great trouble to do something special, I just don't want to see anybody's efforts go to waste (especially the lovely person who always sneaks in the fine Irish Whiskey). If it's not too bold, may I suggest a donation to The American Cancer Society instead. Then some good will have come out of this...
