Does anyone know if people like Canary or Barr were even asked back? Maybe I romanticize Agnes and her relationships with her actors, but I'd like to think she at least suggested that beloved characters Adam and Brooke be part of the re-boot. I'm thrilled, and totally surprised, that they got Jill Larson back.

Canary is pretty much retired, regardless--though I could see him agreeing to a brief return for the first week or something. Otherwise I don't think anybody knows if they were or weren't--except for those who tweet or facebook (like Larsen who made it very clear she wanted to come back), I doubt we'd ever know one way or the other.

Thanks Eric. I just wish they had a stronger roster of vets, like OLTL has. I'm not sure I have much faith that the OLTL vets will be used as anything other than wallpaper and/or plot devices while Destiny, Matthew, etc drive story, but at there is a presence.

I get that, although in a way it sorta depends how you classify vets--where OLTL really impresses IMHO is having Vicki and Dorian--but otherwise the cast is a pretty mixed bag of characters IMHO (not that AMC's isn't by any means...) I DO want Julia B back though

I hated JR he was whiny and a jackass

If JR comes back, but Adam/Brooke do not return.. then we need at least Dixie and/or Tad to return. If both return, then I would like for them to start out together then realize that they have grown apart and then break them up once and for all (no faked deaths, no affairs) just breaking up mutually and moving on. If you can only get one of the two back short-term, then this is a way to break them up in a very satisfying way, imho.
