Members DRW50
I'd love to see more Mike/Erica, or Erica on his own. I know Erica is not suited for muddled spy stories, especially at this point, but when I wrote the Bobby Martin stuff I would have had them spending some time together, before she would remember who he was (since she likely barely noticed Bobby, if they ever met at all), after Mike Roy gives her some type of info that she has to give to Bobby, or something along those lines. And maybe they'd grow closer, depending on the actors or chemistry. I really want to see Mike/Erica again though (Erica: You were supposed to be dead! Mike: We both know there's only one thing that can kill me, Erica.) I think the whole idea tossed around a while back about Erica tracing her roots would be interesting too. Members Mathewson
I'm thrilled JVD signed! Is anyone else signed yet that we know of? I'm even more thrilled that RC and FV won't be involved!! RC's stories were disgusting, there was no closure, and from what I've seen on GH he's repeating the same godawful stories he told on OLTL. Too bad about Ilene Kristen. I'd love to see her!
Members Scotty
JvD is the one one for OLTL confirmed thus far.
Members Dale
Yeah, and the author has really done his homework as far as the interviews he's done. If you read his whole FB page, he has really gotten a lot of OLTL's stars, writers, producers and behind the scenes staffers to talk. Hope it all comes to fruition. Members Khan
Joseph Stuart is still alive? Say what?
Members alexisfan07
I'm sad about Ilene but it's expected without Rex and Gigi I think, even with Natalie still around. She could still get signed, though.
Members MissLlanviewPA
I know there have been those doing two soaps at once (usually one on TV, one online), but with Kassie doing Tainted Dreams now, I wonder what the chances of her signing on to OLTL 2.0 are (recurring notwithstanding--would that be possible?). Members SFK
Yeah, I looked him up a couple of years ago to see if he was still living but I was still surprised to see him giving an interview. I liked that quote from David Fumero. I appreciated that.
Members DRW50
They should ask Joe about Jacqui Courtney...
Members MissLlanviewPA
I wonder if he talked to Paul Rauch before he died. Maybe not, but it would have been fascinating, no doubt.
Members Vee
You don't need Roxy on a contract. You just don't. She got more work on recurring in her last years at OLTL than she had from quite a bit of time on contract. I'd be upset if she didn't show. I don't see another dodgy websoap keeping KDP away from Blair, even if this is still fairly dodgy to me as well. Crystal Chappell continued her bargain basement lesbian cash cow vanity project while drinking her way across on DAYS and B&B. As for people and their AMC ideas, I remember when I'd had to whip up some ideas for a slightly altered finale last year in an old thread, I was just trying to come up with something interesting for cliffhangers. I'd set up a future romantic quandary with a returning Jamie and Natalia having a past while she was engaged to Brot, and little Kathy eavesdropping on Frankie and Madison and hearing that they'd slept together some months prior. I also had some sort of random mess with Bobby Martin which was just there as the ultimate cliffhanger - a little blonde-haired boy turning up in the Corinth police station calling himself Bobby, which was to jolt the AMC audience and keep them on the hook for a return, but was going to tie back to Project Orpheus. The boy was David's last mystery patient with the "B.", and would likely have been the original Bobby's grandson and tied David and the Martins back into that whole Orpheus mystery. It had something to do with Stuart painting visions of a burning black hospital and the kid doodling the same picture - I don't know, I was bored that day and just improvising. Members DRW50
I'm sure this has already been posted, but Brandon's Buzz had an interview with Susan Bedsow Horgan and Thom Racina a little over a year ago. This is not about OLTL, too much, but is still worth a listen if you have the time. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/brandonsbuzz/2011/12/14/susan-bedsow-horgan-thom-racina-on-brandons-buzz I think Horgan had some good ideas for OLTL, not always that well-executed (thought the Angel Square stuff was stilted and trite; the Dorian and Viki stuff in 1995 was very good, but I think most of the other plots lacked energy). I'm willing to blame others for the doldrums of 1996.
Members Vee
Leah Laiman and others were there by '96, I believe. Horgan was also, I think, a breakdown or staff writer since '88.
