November 22, 201213 yr Member Be sure to tweet RC and tell him how much you loved it. He's clearly desperate for positive feedback. I know a lot with say it wasnt great but compared to the crap Guza and JFP gave the audience it was golden. I doubt Guza and JFP would have given the actor any tribute. It would have been all about the mob. And I would tweet him but I dont use it...I have an account but just loath Twitter...LOL The only thing I remember about that episode is that it was basically all about poor Katie's pain. Yes it was all about Katie. It pissed me off. And Khan...pleasssssssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....I think we saw Lyla in the wheelchair because thats how the audience remembered her....when she got up from the wheelchair that told us she was well again...yes the Bible says we go back to younger years....but Id rather have Lyla of the show and not some teen Lyla taking old gramps Edward to heaven.....lol Edited November 22, 201213 yr by Soapsuds

November 22, 201213 yr Member I miss the way GH used to do flashbacks with the fade to black then the actual flashback and then the fade to black again. I hate the nauseating way Valetini and team now execute these flashbacks, it detracts from the content.
November 22, 201213 yr Member *ducks* I thought it was a great episode--all things considering. Oh, please (if that comment is directed toward mine). I wouldn't fault you, or anyone else, for enjoying the episode. I always am the first to admit I can make incredible mountains out of the smallest molehills. Meanwhile, although I give them props for acknowledging his passing, I must say today's proceedings left me feeling a bit cold as well -- and for reasons, I add, that have nothing to do with my issues regarding the final images of Edward and Lila on the staircase.
November 22, 201213 yr Member With all this board angst I assume Liz must have been in the episode. that was my first thought too. Nobody inspires such conversation and deep feeling as the Patron saint of Children of Port Charles, Elizasaint Webber.

November 22, 201213 yr Member I thought it was beautiful. We associate a wheelchair with Lila, and our image of Edward and Lila is of them being old and looking like that, even with a cap. Therefore, it made perfect sense if the message is this is Edward and Lila walking into the light of heaven. Any criticism is just nitpicking of the pettiest kind, just trying to find reasons to criticize.
