You know we are on the same wavelength on that. I give Trent Dawson a lot of credit---I wish Henry had spent a LOT more time out of Katie's bloodsucking realm. Not that I'm surprised they landed on this list relatively high. I can only hope they're not ATWT's only representatives.

I really liked the Luke and Robert friendship. Not too many friendships on soaps are based on crime fighting and action and adventure stories, and these two had a great run in the early 80s.

I did too. They are my favorite bromance of all-time. Too bad they don't seem to be friends right now. Hopefully Cartini can rectify that.

Robert was only around long enough to look like a loser by skipping his daughter's funeral. Duke and Robert were both sacrificed for Luke/Anna (a pairing that seems to have no fans).

I LOVED the Katie/Henry relationship. Trent worked comically with other characters (Emily, Vienna), but the Katie/Henry pairing was magic, which is why it lasted what, ten years? Plus Trent wisely always injected that feeling into all their scenes that he adored her, even when they were fighting or scheming. It's another in a long list of crimes by ATWTs writers that they never got a final scene together.
