Its been reported that Judge Judy makes 45 million a year but close behind it is Kelly Ripa. Since being sole co-host of her own show she is now making upwards of 20 million a year damn wowsa. Thats a ton of money for Ms, Ripa. Thats insane amounts of dough.

Its from daytime confidential;

Not going to begrudge either Ripa or Judge Judy making a ton of money. Both entertain me. If that's what the $$$ that these TV companies are offering those ladies, why should I blame them for taking the money and running?

P.S.: OT but Judge Judy is just awesome.

LOL, Judge Milian looks cool. I like how she bangs the gravel so hard it is going to break in two. She totally loses it at that law school boy!

Judge Judy doesn't quite lose it like Milian. She shouts but rarely flips out completely.

I love Judge Milian and her Cuban colloquialisms. Just when you think she's gone out of her way to be rude to a litigant, she balances it with an incredibly sweet moment with a child or something. I do get second hand embarrasment though when she sets herself up with a, "Now watch this..." and the litigant is like, "Ummm, actually, no."

A judge who I loved dearly and miss is Judge Hatchett. I saw that they rerun her show on Centric I believe, one of the black-themed cable channels. They replaced her with mulberry-robed Judge Karen, and I'm not sure if she still comes on. I also liked Judge Penny, who I'm pretty sure was cancelled... like two years ago?

BTW, I HATE the announcer/reporter dude on People's Court. I guess he's trying to follow in Doug Llewelyn's foot steps, but he is beyond obnoxious and I always pray that someone flips out and punches him in his smug face. Of course that would suck for the person who would inevitably get locked up, but dude is so asking for it. At least a verbal smackdown.

    • Yes, I said some stupid things but I did not act on them.
    • I believe Jagger said Stone was in an assisted living community and thriving.  So Jagger wasn't exactly a part of his day-to-day life.  We know absolutely nothing about Stone's mother besides that it's not Karen, so it's possible she's more involved.  On Nightshift it did seem like he was the main caregiver though.
    • And, in fact, that is exactly what I did do, offered a sincere apology, and a year went by without it happening again & during that time I paid an unbelievably high price. And, during that time I did not speak of it. I did not offer a defense. I just took my lumps. I had been too upset to discuss it. I believed that I would not be believed. And, now I have finally made one statement & your interpretation of my actions is that I come back with excuses, defenses & distortions - whatever the heck that means - and, yes, some people choose not to believe me when I have been nothing but truthful ... forever.  So, your statement that all I needed to do was apologize, sorry, not what happened.
    • I wonder what happened to Jagger's son?  BTW, did Jagger ever go back to the Bay Area to see his son the entire time he lived in Port Charles?
    • Just because Taggert is so anti Sonny I don't see that working for Lois. I agree with all this.   I still thought Harrington was decent.  He was just completely wrong for the role.  Weirdly being hung up on Karen and Stone was a strange choice too.  They've been dead for years and years and he wasn't married to Karen when she died in a car accident and didn't even show up to Stone's funeral.   Correct and Donna is acting like she didn't PM people like me this info about Drake months before he passed away.
    • Wagger was so bizarre. I still don't care about that dude and I knew what would happen to him from the beginning. But it is crazy they pretend like it didn't matter Sonny stone cold killed a fed. I'm sure they will pick it up in a year or two to try to save face and make it important for some other plot point, like how they forgot all about Austin, Nikolas shooting Hayden and letting Shawn take the fall, etc. He was mediocre and folks acted like he was Douglass Watson because of that one Mulcahey speech! The answer here is the same one to anyone who is familiar with Donna from BITD: She implicitly believes she unofficially works here and has a position of authority in fandom. She does not.
    • I would much rather see Lois with someone young and exciting over being with Taggert.  Rick Webber Jr or have a scandalous affair with Dillon Quartermaine.  Tracy would lose her mind.
    • Well, of course, it's unlikely. But in the what-if fantasy world, I wonder if the actors/characters would work well together.
    • I was thinking at some point down the line the show might bring Stone Jr. (2.0?) to PC and avenge his father's unsolved murder or something. I don't know who that Jagger was either.  Strange casting.  The actor was all wrong for the part even if I thought Adam Harrington could act.
