I agree. Same with Romania, at least the Brits still got a medal, Romania had one than got taken away. While the US....well, should of had the gold, way to blow it.

Don't know much about gymnastics but if they are allowed to use replays to correct the calls, how is that considered wrong or being "robbed'? At the end of the day, you want to have the right calls made. It's like a coaches challenge in NFL. That's what the Japan coaches did here. They challenged the ruling, the judges went to replay, they overturned the initial ruling.

Amazing that Missy got that gold after swimming in a race not even 15 minutes before that and only 17! Big future ahead for Missy Franklin. Next "Michael Phelps"

I hope you're right. There's an article about that: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/olympics--missy-franklin-looks-like-she-s-got-the-chops-to-carry-the--female-phelps--label.html

Missy Franklin is only 17. She's everything the promoters love. She's gorgeous, smart, charismatic, has a personality, and is now a gold medalist.

She's won me over with the segment they showed about her family and friends, and her staying in Colorado, turning down a ton a money so she can be eligible for university. I hope she'll have some longevity and we'll see her compete, and win, in 2016 and 2020.

Day 4 and the German team has only won one medal so far – in fencing. Worst showing ever for my country. Well, I still have hopes for the equestrians, rowers, canoeists and some athletes (pole vault, discus and hammer throw, and shot put).

I just read that. From what I have been reading it should be amazing Olympic events this evening.

The woman's gymnastic team was, from what I have been reading, flawless. I'm happy Jordyn Weiber was able to overcome her disappointment also

US Women won gold in gymnastics!

Yeah, they were amazing to watch. Virtually flawless. Totally deserved it. Russia put the pressure on early, but they made some major errors in the final round in the Floor that sealed our gold. It was weird seeing China not in contention for a medal at all after winning gold 4 years. Shows you just how far you can fall in such a short time.

I'm shocked NBC actually bothered to cover Women's Synchronized Diving considering the US wasn't in the finals.

I like anything diving. I am glad they showed it. Cant wait to see the women's gymnastics and the male swimming.

NBC's coverage makes me laugh sometimes. Without spoilers, you knew the guy gymnasts blew it cause NBC didn't show them until towards the end of their coverage & cut it down time wise as much as they could. Tonight, they started the girls gymnastic coverage within the first 30 minutes and spreading it out, cause they are doing well. laugh.png
