I can't remember if a thread like this already exists (if it does, combine or remove mine!) but I'm curious, what are some of soaps' major deaths that stuck and were never reversed? A death that sticks is seemingly rare in soapland so I'm more curious than anything about deaths that weren't played fast and loose with.

Doesn't have to be the most infamous deaths per se but let's keep it to main cast members or heavily recurring people.

I always wanted him to come back, but they would have just made him a rapist, so it's for the best.
