Even people watching this who weren't watching Guiding Light 30 years ago, but were GH fans or whatever could know as the GL Classics 20 episode DVD set has two episodes with Carrie and Ross. One is before the characters were dating, and they have a nice to meet you segment, and the other is when Carrie's third personality comes out. The way Jane played that was so subtle, someone should take notes.

And seriously that's the reason I'd want to see verDorn on GH to act with Jane. As that would make more sense, though I'd want it as a new character who had some past with Tracy during the years she wasn't in Port Charles. They could run that during one of Geary's vacations.

Agreed. If the are *shutter* going to end LuNacy for good, I want Tracy to be the one to exit first and find something new/better. But I also want Luke and Tracy in the same orbit because JE and TG are just too amazing together to keep apart.

Don't think that happens in r/l, but it certainly feels like it when you're watching.

I have always wanted them to bring on a new husband for Monica, only for him to have an affair....with LESLEY.

I've always wanted Monica, who was raised in an orphanage, to learn she and Lesley were half-sisters, the result of an affair between Lesley's father and his mistress, who gave up their daughter for adoption rather than risk the scandal of raising his "bastard" daughter out of wedlock.

I don't like those showdowns, because Tracy is ultimately always portrayed as the looser. I'd like her to be the winner, fair and clean. After this many years, she deserves it. The only thing giving her the lead in the current competition for Luke, is the length of their relationship and how well they know each other.

I just love the idea of Tracy going head to head with a character played by another one of the female soap greats (like Slezak, or Strasser, or best yet, Zimmer... God, I would love to watch her pwn Zimmer) ever since she mopped the hospital floor with Dano's Rae:

I just don't buy Carly trying at support or warmth. Never, ever, ever. Even in the days when I adored the character I wouldn't buy it. Maybe with Tamara Braun, since she was so different from the others.

Tracy with the greats period! It's frustrating watching the less-thans hog the show and Tracy being stuck with children.

I really loved when Dano was on the show, and wish they had kept Skye as Alan's daughter. LD and SD had more chemistry in that short time than I've ever seen with LC. It's probably the only time I've really enjoyed Alan outside of Robin's story, and his occasional moments of being there for Tracy and his "friendship-com-whatever" with Bobbie.
