GH: Discussion for the Month of May

I don't think anyone knows how Carly went from having sex with Sonny to controlling Jason's life a/k/a Carly's version of friendship. That has always been weird. Carly had no conscience about sex even back then; she was able to justify having sex with Sonny to herself without batting an eyelash. She got pregnant by Sonny, which led to her blaming AJ for pushing her down about half a flight of stairs and causing her to miscarry. AJ didn't push her, but he was blamed for arguing with her, a pregnant woman, on a stairway. It was odd that she, a pregnant woman, wasn't blamed for fighting with AJ, but that's how the writing has always been for Carly.

The sex between Carly and Jason when he was with Robin was so casual, they didn't know each other's names, or at least he didn't know hers. It was totally anonymous sex, bar pickup variety.

I don't think the current Jason/Carly friendship kicked into gear until sometime when Tamara Braun was in the role. For a while, Jason liked Carly, but mostly just wanted to be around Michael. The whole thing about "my best friend" wasn't there when Sarah Brown played Carly.

There was a period in between the Carly/Sonny hookup and Jason leaving town. The reason that was given for Jason leaving town was that Carly was using Michael to manipulate him and he thought it was better for Michael if he wasn't around.

It was rumored that SBu did not like working with SJB. Part of that was because she smoked but he didn't want to work with her when she came back the last time after she stopped smoking.

I believe you're right about SJB's Carly. She wanted Jason back, but friendship had nothing to do with it. TB's version of Carly had a strictly platonic friendship with her "best friend" Jason.

The control games started with SJB using Michael to manipulate Jason, along with anything else she could use.

Thanks. I figured it was. The ignore feature is great.

Jason was visiting with Elizabeth while she was working at Kelly's. She was feeling lonely for Lucky and she asked Jason to dance with her to Lucky's and her song, thinking she could imagine he was Lucky. As usual, Carly was skulking around and stalking Jason, and she looked in Kelly's window and saw them. She went to Sonny's and they did the deed. In the meantime, Jason went to the meeting Sonny told him to go to, and he got shot while they were proving how much they cared about him.

GH loved those slo mo gun battles back then (one of the reasons budget cuts aren't always a bad thing). The one I hated most was when he was shot and then, while bleeding, went to read a bedtime story to Michael. rolleyes.gif

Sonny is such a a-hole. Seriously I was hoping for Connie to come out and kill his ass

I see nothing wrong with Michael turning Starr in to the cops.

Did Felicia come and go already?

Wow, can Jason be anymore awful? Instead of going to be with his wife who was kidnapped and nearly MURDERED, he leaves the hospital with Liz? He had to go to the cemetary with her? He didnt even remember Jake's birthday and could have done this later on his own time. You'd think Sam would be a priority and the first thing he should have done was have her move back in with him. Oh and Liz is a bitch too.

Here it is. Yeah Jason walked in after the sex happened. It was after this he wound up with Liz
