She was indirectly hurt by this rape. Different circumstances for her.

Oh snaps, Heather was sloppy! Memphis is still alive

I liked Tea hugging Starr at the end

The police called Johnny in and Kate was sitting down. Looks like she's pressing rape charges against him

I know a lot of people have always hated Carly, and I can respect that, but she has just become this gorgon in recent years, cold and nasty and unfeeling, aside from one or two Emmy bait scenes a year. What bothers me most is that when they do have these tender moments, like that big conversation with Sam, they are ludicrous, with zero buildup. It just seems false. And this character trundles on and on and on, never changing, only regressing more each year, a middle-aged woman behaving like she got kicked out of Sweet Valley High.

I disliked Carly when SJB played her, although SJB is good enough at layers that I could see the vulnerable girl inside the manipulative bully.

I began to find her more human and at times I almost liked her when TB played her.

JB's Carly was forgettable at best.

I only began to seriously hate Carly after LW took over. I figure that's a combination of a terrible actress playing a despicable character.

She does act like she just got kicked out of Sweet Valley High, and everyone around her is going to pay for that.

I've always thought those so-called "tender" moments of hers were Guza's piss poor way of justifying her expired ass still being on the show. Problem is, no one with two brain cells buys her as being anything other than a cancerous bitch so it means nothing other than a loogie to the face of viewers who used to value this show for the opposite of what she's ever brought to the table.

lol...you keep trying to make this about Todd but it isnt about him. Tea is here for one reason..Starr and considering Blair personally asked her to go take care of her situation, thats why she came to town, not to try and make some power play against Todd by trying to be "top dog". Tea has always loved Starr independent of any hatred she's felt for either of her parents over the years. Its not too hard a stretch that she'd want to help when asked to

In other words the show needed a lawyer to defend Starr and there are none besides Alexis at the moment. Considering she is Sonny's attorney, she's out of the question

A little too much OLTL today. I am fine there is an oasis for OLTL fans to seek shelter, but this is GH and Victor, Sam, Tea's nameless brother...this is just random names for GH and not needed. We did not need a single sentence Tea and Todd spat out today. Their history is irrelevant because it happened on another show. All that needed to be done was Tea show up, take the case, and the story begins. If OLTL history was really essential for GH fans then show some flashbacks. That's a lot more interesting than a conversation that ate up half a show.

The eppies of Jax's sexual assault just came on a few weeks ago, so I don't have to play off of memory here.

Carly to Irina: "a female rapist...how pathetic"!

She then told Jason about it, and I quote "My biggest problem is that Jax left when I begged him not to". Carly moved passed the Irina mess almost immediately after they got back home.

Jason reacted like the average American male to Jax being raped and Carly followed suit. Many still find it hard to believe a man can be raped. She never thought it was hilarious.

As for the Johnny thing, as ridiculous as these two are together, it's realistic for a woman to be pissed that the guy she's shagging took sexual advantage of a mentally impaired woman. It makes me sick that Ron took Johnny there. Now, Carly being disappointed that her mentally unbalanced toy mobbie lover betrayed her is laughable!

I don't even need to watch to know how morbid things are. In fact, I just don't see how Johnny took advantage of Connie when Connie, the host, wanted it. It shows just how stupid this DID story really is.

    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.
