Absolutely in love with Dave and Lori. Their nerdy love is too cute for words!!!

-I'm hoping that Eric and Jeremy will avenge D&D being eliminated and unleash their horny wrath on Lake and Michelle.

-Fran and Barry are growing on me, but are nowhere near Don&Mary Jean status for me (I freakin' LOVED Don &MJ)

-Do Ray/Yolanda have NO personality or is it bad editing? Seriously, they have to be one of the most boring teams ever.

I think its the editing. The CBS.com videos are almost more fun and interesting than the episodes.

First of all, there's a video where Fran & Barry explain their brush off of Lake and how they don't have to/don't want to help people on the Race. That's kinda hypocritical considering how many times they've asked for some kind of help from others. Still, they're harmless and getting there

And there is one hilarious video of Ray & Yolanda where they talk about how much they like Lake & Michelle:

Yolanda: "I call Lake 'the mountain man' becuase he just seems like the type of person that would come out of his cabin and shoot you with a big rifle and be like 'What are you doin' on my property... He's just crazy! But good crazy.'"

:lol: I wish they'd show more of that on the show... maybe we'll get a recap episode this season with all of this?

I find this year's teams pretty boring, no one stands out. The only one I liked were the 2 first eliminated teams, the gays and the sisters.

Not a great year for me, I don't have any favorites.

I hate the 2 dudes that are always first

I kinda felt empty without TAR last night. I just realized, that the last time TAR was regularly on a Wednesday was in 2002 with TAR3... my favorite season of all time. (TAR3 on DVD please CBS?)

Hopefully, people, especially families, tune back in to TAR in its earlier timeslot.

NOT Lori and Dave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:(:(:(

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooo sad they got eliminated. They were my favorite team!!!!

Hopefully BJ and Tyler will be there until the end, or I'll have no one to root for.

-OMG!!! Did anyone catch the instant Phil was shown dancing along with the band?!?! CLASSIC!!!!

-Lake annoys the heck outta me. He comes off as some loud neanderthal with no manners at all.

And WTF is up with Michelle not knowing the names of the teams? "There's Barry and what's her name!"...

-I'm liking Fran and Barry more and more each episode, I LOVED how she kept calling out "Excuse me?" looking for the groundskeeper. Too cute!!!

-LMAO at BJ/Tyler's official list.

-Monica is whinyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. It's not like she carried the fish for twenty miles. LOL at her makeup running! Seriously, who wears makeup while racing?

Sad to see David and Lori go and was a bit surprised STILL no non-elimination. I bet the next one is for sure. But I knew once they mentioned it it wouldn't be the case at all.

Joseph and Monica are finally showing some personality and I'm enjoying them more. Ray and Yolanda better step it up. I really want to see them beat Lake and Michelle though.

I can't believe we've only got six teams left already, lol.

    • Thanks for sharing; the set, wow. Ten times better than the "penthouse" she lives in now (is that a surprise, though?).

I just read the intro and first chapter and I'm already hooked. I know she had a co-author, but I can tell Kim is a firecracker and I'd love to have wine with her and talk sh!t haha. It makes reading the book pretty easy and entertaining. Intro - I had no idea she got a DUI! She shared 3 bottles of wine with a friend at dinner one night in LA, got in her car, was pulled over and thrown in jail overnight.  She admitted it wasn't her first time drinking and driving, but learned a valuable lesson that night. Out of the gate, she's not holding back or hiding anything. Chapter 1 - the announcement that GL was being cancelled. She was driving to Peapack and got a call from Bradley Cole who told her the news. First, that's BS that as one of the faces of GL, you hear the big news from a fellow co-star on your way to work. Granted, the "suits" were traveling to Peapack that day to tell the cast and crew, but still, seems icky. Ironically the news came on April Fools Day. Apparently that was the last day the network could decide whether to cancel or renew, but to Kim's point, couldn't they just pick the day before to avoid the callousness of the 'holiday'. Obviously a sad day in GL history. I thought it was funny, she said the one thing she thought of is "what would Susan Lucci do" in this situation, post-cancellation. And of course she said she'd "find something to hawk on the Home Shopping Network"  You all would know better than me, but part of the title of her book is "seven husbands" and in her intro, she uses Reva's full name: Reva Shayne-Lewis-Lewis-Spaulding-Lewis-Winslow-Cooper-Lewis-Lewis-O'Neill.  However, in the first chapter, she said Bradley Cole was "her 8th (or was it 9th?) husband". Well, Kim, that already contradicts the title of your book and your character's name you touted.

    • I was incredibly moved by these scenes, especially Peter's performance. It felt so tender and real, especially when you remember Bo just got out of a years-long coma and wasn't going to be able to put up a front. You're reminded of how long these legends have populated the show when you have a 70 year old man grieving men who were almost 90 or 100, but Bo's response to Victor's death was a poignant reminder of how fresh these wounds are no matter your age. Normally these types of moments don't even make it in soap episodes in recent decades as they are seen as too boring. The more somber moments being balanced by Bo meeting his grandchildren was also lovely.  And the scene where Bo forgave Shawn may be the only time I've been in lock with Brandon Beemer's take on the part.  There's a certain element of suffocation with soaps, as shown here, when you remember so many of the kids are named after long dead relatives, or when they grew up, were paired with the kids of other longtime characters. That aspect always makes me yearn for new blood (new blood that doesn't suck, anyway), but there are other moments, like those with Bo, which make me appreciate all the history the show has.
    • A funny scene, Roger and Sonni go out to eat, at that place that had a colonial theme (I love when soaps have very specific places to eat..I hated the diners on GL, ATWT and AW) and this is just after Rog came back and Sonni hit the headlines and the waitress scremes.."Oh, Roger Thorpe, and YOUR...please dont' hurt me..." and they are all like, "Hey, were just hungry!" (most soaps now have someone go on a murder spree and the rest of the cast and extras look like they havent heard about it."
