Members Ryan Chamberlain
Actually. I'm pretty sure the writers are 'half baked'
Members reallyhateskateonlost
Because of the bad writing...lol
Members SweetPea36
It certainly incited some groaningly bad puns around here, but what a waste of a chocolate cake.
Members Antoyne
At least the baby is still a Quartermaine? I just wonder who thought it was an amazing idea to make Jason/Sam even more depressing.
Members Cheap21
I didnt even think of it that way. Puke. Franco's spawn is the Quartermaine legacy
Members frequentsoapfan
Yeah I don't consider Franco's kids a Q legacy, I don't even consider Jason's one sicne he doesn't give a damn about anything Quartermaine.
Members Mr. Vixen
I can't believe Franco is Alan Quartermaine's child...
Members Cheap21
They can always say that Susan was having an affair with Luke and that Franco is Luke's kid (Jason still being Alan's). Heather knows this truth and will kidnap the child so that she can "raise" Luke's grandchild with him, after she tries to kill Anna to get her out of the way of course
Members Max
Given how much the cartoonish GH is hated, I don't understand why Y&R is also hated so much. That latter soap provides some much needed realism.
Members Cheap21
Realism doesnt equal interesting soap. Y&R is an awful soap for different reasons
Members frequentsoapfan
I like Y&R's realism, always have it just needs less conversation and more action.
Members DRW50
What is realistic about Y&R?
Members frequentsoapfan
With the exception of how they wrote the mobsters last go around and how everyone jumps from company to company it's pretty realistic compared to the other soaps. Members DRW50
I'm not sure it's any more realistic than the other soaps at this point - the days of time travel or Garden of Eden trips seem to be gone. This is the show that had Victor fine and dandy a few days after a heart transplant, had Katharine go through about 10 strokes and yet suffer no effects, Adam was "permanently" blinded twice (once even jabbing his eyes with needles!) and yet now has perfect vision, etc.
