New Opener For GH!

This week, a shortened version of the GH opening credits began airing. That's not the end of the changes ahead. "It is a work-in-progress," reports a show spokesperson. "And expect a final new opening in the coming weeks."

Anyone think it will just be a title card? Or maybe just a picture of Maurice Bernard? He could get top billing ala Rosemary Prinz in the first days of AMC"

I doubt it's happening at all.

That's why they should have kept the original Kate, and they should have recast MumphisMaggie with Bree Williamson.

Um no. BW is awful too. Maggie is an uneeded character and we don't need anymore OLTL castoffs

Agreed, the opening has to be the least of their worries. Especially look at the OLTL opening. Brittany Underwood was still in the opening for the finale!

Not as new Kate, or Irena. Let's just say it was clear that Garin had a type when it came to leading ladies.

Why would they do anything for the 49th anniversary with the 50th next year(though even if they do last until then I don't see them doing anything)

I love the Anna & John scenes, great way to tie them together, Anna having trained John and wow Anna cross paths with Patrick Thornhart at one time

They write in family members for plot points all the time. So, I'm not surprised by this.

What do you wanna bet that Ms. McBain was a stripper at the Paradise Lounge or at one of Sonny's clubs in Atlantic City. And, Sonny slipped her something once and she died.
