Lauren Koslow as Kate had a great wardrobe from 1996 to around 2003-2004. Classy and sexy business suits. But from 2005 to present she is one of the worst dressed. She is trying to hard to look young and hip. Some of the things she wears doesn't suit the character of Kate at all. Lauren should seperate her own personal taste when playing a character.

Yeah she has alot of imput on how her character looks and I don't like alot of her choices like the blue streaks in her hair.

The see-through black Emmy dress from 1993 was AWFUL. She was widely panned for that, even though Walt Willey (her co-host) was mumbling over how hot she looked. For the record, her thighs are NOT huge - she's pear-shaped but absurdly tiny - but that dress was just not flattering on her at all.

Compare that one with her dressed for the Emmys in Erica's 1998 Crystal Ball gown: http://www.tressugar...943996?slide=10

Or the simple white Badgely Mischka she wore when she won": http://www.tressugar...943996?slide=12

I thought she looked amazing in 2002 at the Emmys: http://www.gettyimag...photo/81651803. Simple red column dress, pretty jewelery, more natural-looking makeup and softer, more moveable hair.

Then she goes and wears something godawful like this "I'm not wearing any underwear" dress from 2006, paired with giant hair: http://www.gettyimag...photo/135424706

If left to her own devices, she tends to wear stuff that's either overly risque or overly gaudy, and she tends to wear her hair far too teased and wild.

Oh I disagree, that one shoulder dress in 2006 was great! laugh.png My mom and her best friend were a few years younger than Susan and they had a major "You go girl!" moment when she came out on stage in that. Suddenly on the show she was doing quit a few one shoulder numbers.

I so disagree, I love the input Lauren has with Kate's wardrobe, she doesn't look desperate to me, she looks current and edgy.

Rae Cummings and Mary Smythe were also very well, and uniquely, dressed characters. Particularly the metal jewelry and the modern cut of their clothes. I've wondered if Anna's wardrobe for Mary was inspired by her friend Linda, and what Linda brought to Rae (who Anna of course played for a day or too).

I always thought Colleen Zenk Pinter looked great as Barbara Ryan on ATWT. I especially loved her look during one of her three weddings to Hal. Does anyone have a photo of that?

I can't remember which wedding, but Colleen was wearing a sleeveless dress that just looked beautiful on her. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the last wedding, because they both looked fairly young. Whichever wedding it was, I do remember it being pretty elegant.
