I live closer to DC, so I've always felt more connected to it than Baltimore. Grant Aleksander is also from Baltimore--I think he and his wife have a home there. According to wikipedia, he was born in Frankfurt am Main (in the federal state of Hesse) and his birth name is Thorsten Ernst Kieselbach (literal translation of Kieselbach: "gravel creek"). Y&R's Eric Braeden (Victor) and Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren) were also born in Germany; Braeden (as Hans-Jörg Gudegast) in the upper north near the Danish border (in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein) and Bregman in Munich (in the federal state of Bavaria).
