Robin Strasser and Susan Lucci are both New Yorkers. Robin grew up in the city, Susan, out on Long Island (born in Westchester).

Julia Barr-Indiana

Marj Dusay-Kansas

Beverlee McKinsey-Oklahoma

For example, GL was very friendly to people from Maryland (my home state):

Grant Aleksander

Crystal Chappell

Nancy St. Alban

Laura Wright

I believe Loving's Christine Tudor is a Baltimoron.

Not the US but some of my fellow Australians include:

Paul Leyden- Melbourne, Victoria

Carmen Duncan- Cooma, New South Wales

Daniel Goddard- Sydney, New South Wales

Tristan Rogers- Melbourne, Victoria

Nathan Parsons- Adelaide, South Australia

Tammin Sursok was born in Johannesburg, South Africa (my mother's hometown and where I lived for a while when I was younger) but was raised in Sydney

None from my birthplace of Perth, Western Australia :(

That was on purpose, wasn't it? laugh.png

It's all good. I like the Redskins, myself (well...after the Colts, anyway). I live closer to DC, so I've always felt more connected to it than Baltimore.

Grant Aleksander is also from Baltimore--I think he and his wife have a home there.

LOL, I have lots of love for Bodymore, Murderland! Yes, Grant is from there and I knew someone who went to his high school where he came to visit and give a talk. Grant still has some of his Ballmer accent if you listen carefully.

GA:

Chandler Massey (Will, Days)

Petronia Paley (ex-Quinn, AW; ex-Vivian, GL)

Amelia Marshall (ex-Gilly, GL; ex-Belinda, AMC; ex-Liz, Passions)

Marshall and Paley are both from Albany, GA!

Sandra Ferguson is from western PA (possibly the city of Pittsburgh). Like Tonja Walker, she was a beauty queen.

Nancy Lee Grahn is from WI. Given that Nancy is one of daytime's most liberal actresses, I thought that was an interesting coincidence. (In recent years, WI has been known to be more of a swing state, but throughout much of the 20th Century it was one of the most progressive-friendly states in the country.)

I think NLG is from Illinois. Skokie, to be precise.

Former SB co-star Lane Davies hails from Georgia.

Marcy Walker is from Kentucky.

I appreciate the correction on NLG. I swear that I recall that she said she was from WI during one of Disney's Super Soap Weekends, though I must be wrong.

I did this page for the 42nd anniversary of "Days." It includes all of the contract actors' hometowns (those on contract between 1986-2007).

http://www.jason47.com/days/contractcast6.html

Just haven't updated it in awhile, but eventually the list will include all the contract actors on the show from 1965-present.

Thorsten Kaye is German, but went to college in Detroit

I didn't know he was born in Germany. According to wikipedia, he was born in Frankfurt am Main (in the federal state of Hesse) and his birth name is Thorsten Ernst Kieselbach (literal translation of Kieselbach: "gravel creek").

Y&R's Eric Braeden (Victor) and Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren) were also born in Germany; Braeden (as Hans-Jörg Gudegast) in the upper north near the Danish border (in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein) and Bregman in Munich (in the federal state of Bavaria).

I forgot another Marylander:

ATWT

Peyton List. She grew up in Baltimore.

And another from Virginia:

GH

Jen Lilley. She was born in Roanoke.
