Wait a minute. Jessica Collins is leaving?! What? Hell to the naw!

ETA: Her Twitter account doesn't say she is leaving. Instead there seems to be a lot of friendly tweeting with Joshua Morrow, Michelle Stafford, Michael Muhney and Sharon Case. In fact, I'd even go as far as to say that La Stafford loves her.

Also from Twitter: I hadn't realized that Collins and Jess Walton have been friends for years! Apparently they are filming scenes together so something (for this Jill and Avery fan at least) to look forward to.

I hope that this is not true! Jessica Collins has so seamlessly integrated into the cast. She is spectacular.

Though, they can wean her off those soccer-mom Diane Von Fostenberg wrap dresses.

I heard Leslie might be back as a lawyer

She is back on March 30. I won't bother posting it in spoilers since it is not really that big of a spoiler.

Also, to everyone wondering, nobody said anything about Avery leaving, at least not yet.

Who is Leslie?

Leslie was the associate to Eric Roberts' lawyer character. She and Neil sparked, but they dropped that story.

I actually didn't care about that one night stand Leslie and Neil had. She was too young for him anyway(and before anyone brings up some of Victor's past wives I didnt care for them either) and I saw no sparks. He does somewh t spark with Harmony but I don't really want them together.

Neil and Leslie never had a one night stand. They almost had sex up in her suite but Neil stopped it which disappointed Leslie.

I thought they did have sex eventually. Wasn't paying much attention that day of the epi but it came out of nowhere

Didn't know Ricky lived with Eden

I'm trying to watch this today - I have no idea why - and noticed they are playing blaring soft porn music over the Phyllis/Nick scenes. I'm sure glad that a granddaughter's custody battle is sexytime.

Eden and Daniel both look like they have tuberculosis. And once again the music was too loud.

Ricky and Daisy are just godawful. I can't believe how terrible she is after a lifetime in the industry. Ricky looks Sam the Eagle and is about 10 years too old for the role.

That scene where he told Daisy he'd help her cut way too abruptly.

Why is Victoria dressed like Mary Hartman's grandfather?

Wow, Genie Francis still can't act. Is she playing the world's oldest ingenue? What is she doing?

Nikki isn't even wearing fur, she's wearing pelts. With the hair she looks like a bag lady.

The only interesting part was Jack's paralysis (sort of). I guess the Shadam stuff might have qualified if they hadn't had this scene a dozen times.

I actually liked Victoria's wardrobe today aside from that coat when she went to go meet her father. The hair looked nice and the dress was pretty

Yvonne Zima is so dull onscreen, she's benefitted though from having an acting family to help her get roles

It's true that a couple of storylines are bad--like Kevin's (just concluded) marriage to the mob princess and Daisy's custody battle--but others are pretty good. In particular, I am enjoying the Jack/Sarge storyline, the corporate intrigue going on with Mitsukosi (spelling?), the friction between Victor and Nikki, and watching Tucker and Devon repair their relationship. Even from a subjective standpoint, I don't see how Y&R deserves to be cancelled.

I don't consider it the worst soap on air. I find it better than GH, DAYS, and B&B right now. I just think Y&r needss a big shake up

Victor and Nikki have had the same story 50 times in the last few years alone. The business story is incomprehensible and mostly involves more reminders of Victoria being pathetic, as if we didn't already know that.

I think the reason folks are so critical of Y&R is because they have been the gold STD for years and even after Bill Bell handed the reigns over to Alden and Smith the show still managed to maintain that image. It's just like all the rest now. I don't think it's the worst soap by far. GH still is hands down but it's now not that much better than the rest where that was never the case before. Like you I am liking some things but the things not working seems to cast a large shadow over the rest.
