Michael Park will be the alternate Galileo on Broadway (Raul Esparza is the regular typical Galileo). Danny Strong (Doyle on Gilmore Girls) wrote the book of the musical.

AMC alum Christine Baranski and Finn Witrock have supporting parts in the romcom All That She Wants.

Kin Shriner is still going through surgeries - now an ankle replacement.

Tom Pelphrey (ex-Jonathan, GL) just won an Emmy for Task. (They didn’t acknowledge his Daytime Emmys, of course. They acknowledged Julianne Moore’s Daytime Emmy when she won for Game Change.)

Tom apparently forgot he was in a daytime soap. How small he is.

Pelphrey openly talked about his time on GL in a very recent interview. I don't think he can be blamed for the shortcomings of the Emmy announcers.

Heather's hotel set was just two walls and some furniture. But it worked in that context, although that hideous fake/floral lamp set up perched on stool was a big mistake.
So that sort of setup could be used effectively for an office for various characters - eg Vanessa, Isaiah or to depict part of the Dupree den etc. See , it can be done!

I'm pretty sure Becky Lee and the aborted Drew/Rachel pitch with the R.J. whodunit was his last stuff. He talked about it and his plans for the racism story/interracial romance on one of his fansites or his official site in the late '90s or early 2000s, before he returned to the show IIRC.

That is (maybe) the only good thing happening? George Cheeks championed BeyondTheGates, and the portrait on the wall in the Fairmont Crest club set (supposedly Vernon Dupree's father Paul Cheeks Dupree) is actually a portrait of George Cheeks' real-life father Paul Cheeks.

I’d love to see Sharon and Nick at the main house on the ranch. Give Sharon’s cottage a glow up and have Faith move there or something. Nikki and Victor could go into retirement but drop in every now and then to make sure everything is in order and add some conflict.
Even though I see Nick and Sharon as the next head of the family, doesn’t mean I need them to hog air time either. Let Faith be the new young heroine on the show. Start giving these kids front burner stories. (Like others have mentioned for Johnny, Katie, Charlie, Mattie etc)

Y&R: Jamey Giddens & Dan O'Connor named co-head writers

They made Devon/Abby recurring and that works out OK-we see them from time to time .So I would be happy for Mariah/Tessa to be the same.
Sharon recurring could work if she was a presence at CL (please give that place a glow up and some customers)
If Faith returned that would give Sharon more to do as well as being talk to at CL.
Let's hope the new writers can make some positive impact. Anything is going to be better than what we have been subjected to these past few years.

Billy and Sharon would be tops on my list to drop. Maybe Sharon could get the Kate Linder contract. Their characters are pretty interchangeable at this point.
