Watching my recording of the CBS version of the Macy's Parade (AKA - we have to film everything from 500 miles back as we don't have the rights), and there were a spattering of soap alums - Lonnie Quinn doing the weather and awkwardly chatting with people (complete with unfortunate crotch shots of a magician, people who do not want to be oncamera and barely get words out, et al), Renee Elise Goldsberry talking about Hamilton, and in a cast performance of the Carole King jukebox thing Beautiful, Paul Anthony Stewart harmonizing on You've Got A Friend.

I never watched CBS's coverage and was wondering how they cover it when they don't have the rights.

They show everything from a distance and never, ever show the musical performances from the parade (no big loss as 90% of them are fried ass). It also means a lot of time talking to confused paradegoers, celebrities on the platform, and some prerecorded musical performances.

CBS also usually shows other parades too right? It isn't just the halfway coverage of NYC, I know that they used to have their soap stars on it.

I think they dropped coverage of the other parades.

Yeah, I think they used to have one in Hawaii but they dropped it a few years ago.

Carrie Genzel, still my favorite Skye, popped up again on Supernatural this past week. I guess the show has been on so long they're just reusing everyone.

Patrick Muldoon(Austin,DAYS) stars in A Christmas Reunion alongside ex girlfriend Denise Richards on ION December 13th.

A Madison Avenue executive, Amy, discovers an unusual Christmas surprise when she inherits her Aunt’s hometown bakery. The real surprise comes when she learns the other half of the bakery was left to her long-ago boyfriend, Jack.
