Question: OLTL Victor Lord, Sr.

Not sure about Tony. I know Jean Randolph mentioned him when Todd was going to become a Lord. Merridith...yes. I remember in 2003 Viki gave both Natalie and Jessica pins that had been passed down from her mother to both Merridith and herself. After that she mentioned the pins a few times and one year natalie and Jessica gave her a ring that looked like the pins.

Jean was derived from Eugenia, mother/gatekeeper/protector, as Dorian observed when she first met Jean. I believe Tony's mother's name was Dorothy Randolph, and she was Eugenia's sister. So Tony was Viki and Meredith's brother AND first cousin.

Here's another clip of where Victor pops out during Viki's therapy with Susanah Hanen. It is right after Viki finally learns the truth and begins around the 7 minute mark of the first clip.

HA! my mind just went to Beverly Hills 90210 when Donna Martin found out her 'cousin" gina (Vanessa Marcil) was actually her father's daughter too from a breif time he had with her mother's sister. her mother Felice who was so proper said something like "What do you want us to introduce her as.... your sister and your cousin? It would make us all sound like trash!"

Wow, I didn't watch that show and I had no clue their characters were related!

I believe another example is lookalike sisters/cousins Frannie and Sabrina from ATWT. I think Bob fathered both girls by sisters Jennifer and Kim. Am I correct ATWT fans? I do know that the roles were later recast and they no longer looked alike.

I was always curious why Viki's other alters never came out. All we really saw were Jean and Niki in the last years. Princess, Tommy, Tori and Victor never made any other appearances that I can remember.

I guess because the others were more closely related to her childhood abuse which has been resolved. Jean was HBIC so I guess her appearances would always be justified when Viki was crumbling, and Niki is the originator, the "star" alter, so they'd always find a reason to bring her back.

It was lazy, "greatest hits" writing. A lot of what they put on Niki was very out of character for her. The 2002 mess should have been Tori, not Niki.

I think that was just typical crap of that era where everything had to be bad camp. The basic plot of Niki wanting to kill and destroy was suited to Tori.

The lusting after Bo was suited to no one...

True...but you would have thought that at least one or two of them would have came out when Viki learned that Niki left little Jessica to get molested while she was out getting drunk and felt up.

The last 2 or 3 episodes are on Youtube, along with some Teddy/Falconer clips. That seems to be about it though. The best was the first 2 seasons.

Tori was just generally a careless woman who was unstable. She was the one who tried to burn down the Lord mansion wasn't she?

I think the writers may have not known how to utilize them in terms of story. Tommy was an angry boy who came out when Viki felt intimidated or scared, Princess was generally just a helpless child. I don't remember anything about Victor really.

I enjoyed their individual scenes with other characters before they all came together at the Pub to commiserate over their relationships with Sami. I thought that was broken down pretty well. I just wish it had gone on a little longer. And I actually found it kinda funny too lol it seemed more mature than what we're used to. That's the kind of humor that should be on a soap. But I'm not really sure about all this talk of Dante Vitali and Sami's engagement though, especially since it doesn't look like Ali Sweeney is coming back anytime soon. What's the point of it all if we're (probably) not going to see it? It also looked like today was the first round of Brady vs. Xander as well lol I enjoyed their fight, and I'm interested in seeing this storyline play out. Even though I'm sure that Sarah will ultimately go back to Xander in the end, I'd like to see what happens along the way, and how they and everyone around them are affected by this. Btw, Theo and Jada? Idk. I still think he had the most chemistry with Arianna. And he was a bit of a dick too. It also seemed a little out of character for Jada for her to be so OK with him being such a dick  And though Alex and Stephanie were very boring again and need much better conflict than this book stuff, I am interested in the mystery of who's targeting Alex.  And yeah, I know this is a nitpick, but why is the Square still open after the gala? Isn't it supposed to be really late at night?
    • In fairness, Hillary and Bob Woods were thick as thieves again at least by the end of OLTL. But both she and I believe Mark Derwin not so subtly dissed Kale Browne in the oral history, lol.

    • Frat Boy Jr.'s reaction to seeing Luna was just awful acting. It was so bad that I started laughing.

Does anyone have screenshots of it?
    • Geez, I hadn't heard that Doctors story. HBS really did go through it.
    • No offense to the actors involved, but dear God in heaven: I don't know HOW viewers managed to get through that storyline with Maggie, Frank, Cal and baby Jill without running into oncoming traffic.  Then, to make matters worse, they dragged poor Diana into the mess!  I don't care WHO gets that damn baby!  Just wrap it up and move ON already!
    • Poor HBS.  To have to put up with Stephen Burleigh, who stuck his knee between her legs while rehearsing a love scene on THE DOCTORS, then told the director that's what he did with his wife; Kincaid, who had more hair on his chest and upper lip than Koko the Gorilla; Kale Browne, who taped his lines all over the OLTL studio floor, because he couldn't ever be bothered to [!@#$%^&*] memorize them; and Robert S. Woods, who apparently thought it was still 1979 and that he was still smolderingly sexy, so why should Bo Buchanan be stuck being in a happy marriage with Nora?  After all that, no wonder she jumped at the chance to play a lesbian on VENICE, lol.
    • @Maxim Thank you for the mini-review and clip from several pages ago. I appreciate you using the Bo/Alex clip as them meeting again by this point was a real surprise to me. The scene has some layers, getting a glimpse of Alex genuinely wanting the best for Bo rather than gloating. I was disappointed it ended with Tina dragging her out of the room for some much less interesting sparring (I did enjoy Alex pointing out just how quickly Tina got over Cord).
