I agree about Joe being her soulmate because that's what she's always said. Later it was Ben. It was never Clint. After what he's done the past two years, this Clint is the opposite of her soulmate. But there's nobody else left in Llanview for Viki to repeat a trip to Heaven with. If anyone can sell that ridiculous retcon, Erika can. I wish FV/RC weren't repeating the Heaven plot device again. It's so easy to believe that Viki would choose to stay this time with her beloved Joe, Ben, Sloan, Merri, Megan, grandchildren and good friends like Larry, Mel and so many others.

It's hard to believe it's the same HW who wrote Viki's last Heavenly visit (the link below) and her tragic final one coming up:

You're right. At this point life with her friends and family must be more tempting than the people who are left and who drag her down. They could say that her passion for journalism is keeping her going - I'd buy that more than the idea of her staying for the likes of Todd, Jessica, or Clint.

The main thing I would get out of another otherworldly visit is if she confronted Victor one last time and realized how much her life has been defined by him, and how she can't get involved with a man who is as unbalanced as Clint has become, even if he is now improving. The show could have them as friends and then say maybe more will happen when Clint is better. It's going to be tough to believe Megan telling Viki her soulmate is a man who, five minute redemption aside, terrorizes women and teenagers.

Starr and Cole spoilers from the OLTL SOD/SOW special issue

They have a section about couples and in the synopsis about Starr and Cole it says they declared their love in 2012 and he fakes his death

But Kristen also said in SOD that she filmed two different endings for Starr so I wonder what's going on, this make it seem like this was the definite ending.

No, he's not dead (on OLTL or in rl) but to RC, he may as well be. I figure death-off-screen is the only reason for not having Larry on one last time. They should've popped for MS to fly out to NYC to shoot final scenes with Viki if she's going to "die" and visit Heaven again. Frank is a pro at dropping in edits later on if it wasn't convenient for him in November. It boggles the mind that Dr. Larry is not returning at all.
