October 26, 201213 yr Member Mary O'Leary is listed as "Producer" on Monday's Y&R US episode. Sally McDonald is no longer listed as "Supervising Producer" as well. O'Leary's "Producer" credit was listed before Fisher and Morina's "Supervising Producer" credits. Edited October 27, 201213 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
October 27, 201213 yr Member what happend to the rumour of Kay Alden returning? Sharon must've burnt that up, too.
October 27, 201213 yr Author Administrator Mary O'Leary is listed as "Producer" on Monday's Y&R US episode. Sally McDonald is no longer listed as "Supervising Producer" as well. O'Leary's "Producer" credit was listed before Fisher and Morina's "Supervising Producer" credits. She's been a "Producer" since 1998. I wonder why she's never bumped up to "Supervising Producer".
October 27, 201213 yr Member I don't understand it either or why Y&R has two (previously three) Supervising Producers. It seems like Mary is of course Jill's right hand person/producer though. Per the interview Daniel Goddard and Tracey Bregman gave, Mary seems to be the one on the floor and in the booth giving the actors and crew immediate feedback in the day to day, which they singled her out for in the interview. October 27, 201213 yr Member Like Y&R, B&B also has two supervising producers: Rhonda Freidman and Ed Scott
October 27, 201213 yr Member Yeah, but for years it was just Rhonda. Y&R's had multiple SP's since 2008, with the duties seemingly vague between them. From what I gather, Mary's Jill's second in command, not Morina or Fisher, though they have the Supervising titles. With B&B, I believe Rhonda handles all the managerial duties (meetings, budget, etc) while Ed does the day to day booth/floor duties (which Rhonda also did for years before Ed came on).
October 27, 201213 yr Author Administrator With B&B, I believe Rhonda handles all the managerial duties (meetings, budget, etc) I think that's what John Fisher does. He's not a production producer.
October 28, 201213 yr Member Ron Weaver handles budget as the senior producer. Edited October 28, 201213 yr by EnglishTea
October 28, 201213 yr Member Ron's primary role used to be international syndication and revenue (which does fall into budget), I believe. He's vice president of BBL Distribution, the distribution arm for B&B. Edited October 28, 201213 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
October 28, 201213 yr Member Ron also handles contract negotiations, below and above the line budget, etc.
November 1, 201213 yr Member what does everyone think of brent boyd's script editing so far?? im only asking cause im completly clueless with script editing!
November 2, 201213 yr Member Scott Hamner and Beth Milstein are off the credits in Monday's Y&R US episode. It appears that Natalie Minardi Slater is now their only AHW. Edited November 2, 201213 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
November 2, 201213 yr Member Who knows? Perhaps Josh Griffith will bring the size of the writing staff back down to Bell era-size.
