I think she most interesting thing about Sami is waiting for when her world is going to fall apart. That, and her relationship with Kate. I think she's too one-note with Marlena and both she and Will are brats.

But the sami of right now i find completely fascinating. She is supporting her family - for the first time ever. She has pressure and responsability and is in way over her head in the corperate world. Her working relationship wit madison and Kate is bringing back a long ignored bitch factor she should have never lost. She is keeping a huge secret in her romp with EJ - proving she is still her own worst enemy. She is scheming and lying now, but in a much more adult way. She is a whinny brat when it comes to Marlena, and should be. At least until they really go there and examine their relationship - and even then id prefer her to cut Marlena out than forgive her. Her relationship with Will is really just starting - i love that she thinks all his anger is about a breakup and he is disgusted at the fact that his mother doesnt know him well enough to know better. The way he openly laughs when she talks to him about what she thinks his issues are, his anger and rage - its all totally spot on, realistic, and justified. I just wish the writers would play on the history of what Sami has put him through over the years. At least they are playing up his closeness and fondness of rafe because i see that his issues with Sami come from screwing his siblings life up by her actions again like she did his own when they have a good father role in their lives with Rafe. I dont think all of his issues and anger come from him being gay and not dealing with it.

That said, Will being gay and having issues with it is surprisingly poorly written. Clearly nobody around him would care - all of his friends love Sonny, hell Chad acted as his boyfriend to prove a point once. As for his family, a) who are they judge, really? and why would they care? The religion factor could be played up perhaps with Roman or Caroline. But Sami? Kate? Mar? John? They wouldnt care. Hell, kate would be thrilled to be honest. and Carrie/Austin not being played up in this story is a HUGE hole. He lived with them, he is close to them, they should be in the story a lot.

Also, i missed a week, but didnt Will tell Marlena he saw Sami/EJ? Has there been any follow up on that?

I think Nicole's a great spark plug character, which DAYS has little of at the moment. Rafe I don't think is that bad - I think he's just dull and gets a lot of flak because people seemed to hate Sami/Rafe. I think he's an OK B-level leading man, and he doesn't have that sleaze which bothers me with Daniel. He kind of reminds me of Drake Hogestyn long ago. I just don't really get the idea of Carrie/Rafe, at least not with these "cute" or "sexy" scenes. Neither actor can play those, and honestly I'm not sure if anyone could.

I would write Jennifer out. I don't see the point in her now. I don't care about Abby either, or most of the teens. The show just seems to keep doing revolving pairings instead of writing for them as characters. Chad is bare bones as a character, which is a shame. Not even getting into the non-character that is Sonny.

Nicole is nothing more than a prop - and never has been, or will be. I love her, but i wouldnt miss her if she left town today.

Rafe, i also love. But again, i wouldnt miss him. there is NOTHING to him outside of being Sami's good guy.

Jennifer & jack both need to go. Daniel, who i also like, well his time came years ago.

And as for the teen set, they are poorly written characters with little to no dynamics or drive. Abby is a character who just needs some clarified motivation. She has a crush on Austin, thats fine. She has daddy issues, sure. But what is it thats making her go borderline 1996 Sami Brady? And will they fully go there with her obsession with him? I dont think so because they dont like to let their characters go really off the deep end or be bad. They try to keep them on saint side. You cant have a show of Saints. Even EJ, with all he has done and is doing, is portrayed as a anti0hero in some way. Its annoying.

Kate not being in Will's life is criminal.

If I didn't know better, I'd say they were pitting Jenn and Nicole against each other because they plan on pairing Nicole up with Jack. However, we all know the show won't go there sadly.

Great show today! I loved the Intensity/Countess W stuff with Kate/Sami/Chad/Gabi/Melanie. I LOVE Sami so much in this mode right now. That was a great idea having Chad & Gabi model together. LOL at Melanie's awkward, jealous looks at them. Liking this triangle a lot.

Thats him! I thought he was a good enough actor on that show and he was one of the leads. Its sad to go from that to being reduced to playing an extra. Its a shame his career didnt take off frmo there
