I didn't know Carl was white either until SOD said Pine Valley had its first interracial marriage when Carl and Nancy got married. They said it in a yearly recap from the 40th Ann. Special article they had.

I guess it never ever crossed my mind because Carl Jr. did not look biracial (matter fact, he was darker than Nancy). I swear, this is a detail I could have conceivably gone the rest of my life without knowing.

That's news to me, too, and yep, it's because Carl Jr. must have been played by a fully black actor. I've only seen him in one episode, but still, I never gave it second thought

Yes, Marley and Tyrone kissed once or twice. There was also a hot scene where she found him in just a towel. For AW at that time, it was a very surprising and potentially riveting relationship.
