Ok. I know the answer to this question is that we get them, when we get them. But I'm asking anyway. When will we get them? LOL.

It amazes me how ABC is touting The Chew has a hit. It may be matching AMC in total viewers from last year this week but when did total viewers start mattering to ABC? In the all important demos The Chew's numbers are not mentioned at all because they suck. Yes, The Chew is 40% less to produce than AMC but the show has only been on since September 26th. With all the promotion and advertising ABC has spent on TC over the last several months coupled with the fact the demos are awful I cannot honestly believe ABC is making anymore money on TC than they were making on AMC. After TC has been on 6 months then maybe ABC can talk but right now its extremely premature.

LOL I'm curious to see what the Chew's demos are, that's what matters

I hope it's okay to post this from TV By the Numbers

"Days Of Our Lives" (1.1/7 among women 18-49, 0.8/5 among women 18-34) scored its highest women 18-49 rating in five months (since the week of June 13-17, 1.1). In women 18-34, "Days" delivered its highest rating in 10 months (since the week of January 31-February 4, 0.9).

And dragonflies beats me to it. I'm glad DAYS went up. It was pretty good that week.

Wow, that is the 6th week in a row OLTL has beat GH in the 18-49 demo. And I believe the first time since Nov' 2000 OLTL beat out GH for a sweeps.

GH's demos have really collapsed as last November sweeps it averaged nearly 800,000 18-49 females viewers. In contrast, last November sweeps OLTL averaged nearly 650,000 and for 2011 only -10,000 off down.

So NBC's press release is completely different from ABC's. Which is true? I hope DAYS did have a really good week because I have been thoroughly enjoying it.

ABC's press release is the November Sweep averages, not the week of Nov 21st.

These are the numbers for a holiday week. What does that usually mean? People were home and watching TV.

Ratings tend to go up during shortened weeks. Remember, Days didn't air on Thursday or Friday, so what we're seeing there is a 3-day average. And it's the 3 days that tend to be the highest-rated. But a win is a win, and I'm thrilled regardless!

Shortened week? I'll take it! Better to go up than down. I was hoping DAYS would get back in the 600,000's and in the 1's in Women 18-49, but getting 700,000 and 1.1 is a real surprise! Sure this will mean DAYS and OLTL will drop big next week.

Last year's numbers weren't that great:

OLTL and DAYS had a great bump compared to last year's small bump.

Nice Wednesday for OLTL which ended on a cliffhanger of Matthew's "death."

DAYS was good last week.

B&B skewed soo much older.

The 2.2 for OLTL on Wed is great. The show was good that day with Matthew.

Glad to see Days up too....ditto for B&B

B&B deserves some recognition as well. Nice gains continue. BTW - How about the Y&R Friday repeat episode? It only aired in part of the country and STILL beat EVERY original DAYS, OLTL and GH last week. Now that's impressive.
