December 14, 201114 yr Member Yes bc only Stephanie is capable of social work. Bell is smart and realizes Susan Flannery is an Emmy draw so he utilizes her for all of these. This stuff is supposed to continue today so Im assuming its gonna take up the entire show. Should be a day to skip IA. I know I'm out of step....but Stephanie preaching about compassion feels like something out of the Twilight Zone. If Bell wanted to produce a half-hour documentary about Susan Flannery doing charity work, I'd be fascinated. This pseudo "feel good" docu-crap emmy lure feels more and more hollow every year. That's not to blame my apathy on the actors (that scene with SF and newgirl was intense). But it's supposed to be a serial drama, and every time they do this, it completely disrupts the flow of the show.

Another point to be made is that Stephanie is not a good person simply because she helps and cares about the homeless and the poor. Somebody should be judged on the totality of her actions, and it is clear that Stephanie (on the whole) is evil. I hold Stephanie in much lower regard than I do someone who never volunteers his time to help others but still is ethical in all of his business and personal dealings.
December 14, 201114 yr Member I'll come back to B&B after Bradley Bell finishes atoning for his sins by producing this ish.
December 14, 201114 yr Member I turned this on for 2 minutes and went right on back to Days Bell's next real life PSA will be exploring victims of incest. That should be right up his alley Edited December 14, 201114 yr by Cheap21

December 15, 201114 yr Member I am actually enjoying B&B's latest social issue story. I think Michael Stich is doing a great job directing and I loved the location footage. B&B does camp so well and I think they deserve credit for bringing these issues to their worldwide audience. But even on other soaps where it can feel forced, there's usually much more of an effort to make it come organically out of some character or story. These feel like you're watching an entirely different show.
December 15, 201114 yr Member Why do they call him "Dollar Bill" Spencer, by the way? Is it a reference to his previous career as an exotic dancer?
December 15, 201114 yr Member Why do they call him "Dollar Bill" Spencer, by the way? Is it a reference to his previous career as an exotic dancer? bc his first name is Bill (or rather short for William)....lol. Its just a clever nickname to go along with that.I dont think there's a story to it Edited December 15, 201114 yr by Cheap21
December 15, 201114 yr Member Steffy: "I am NOT some kind of homewrecker!" Perhaps, if you'd spend more time with Ridge and Brooke, you might pick up a few tips? If I were Katie, I'd just lay the smackdown on Steffy and get it over with. Heart condition be damned. Edited December 15, 201114 yr by Khan
December 15, 201114 yr Member Why do they call him "Dollar Bill" Spencer, by the way? Is it a reference to his previous career as an exotic dancer? I think it's just a reference to the fact that he's good at making a buck and as Cheap said his name as Bill. I only like it when Ridge says it in his derisive way.
