They haven't mentioned anything about Dr. Maggie Mumphess' past other than she's a rule breaker and sent some kid flying from his wheelchair in pediatrics down in Memphis. Oh, and she and Steve keep talking about how they can't talk about "what happened in Memphis." Other than that, it's just an obnoxious actress portraying another Lisa.

I'm not touching the ridiculous FakeKate vs. RealKate drama, so I'll speak on the fact that I believe Maurice Benard and Kelly Sullivan do have chemistry with each other as actors. They play off each other quite well.
