Members MontyB
I am so sad to hear this news. Loved her as Anna, but really loved her darker turn as Beth Bryson on The Edge of Night. I met her on a downtown bus here in Manhattan many years ago. What a nice lady. May she rest in peace.

Members TeamEric
Actually Carlotta and Téa had scenes together when Téa first returned in 2008 and 2009. In late 2009 recast Carlotta came to comfort Téa after TnT's 2009 wedding broke up so we saw their bond. Téa and Cristian also had some good scenes but the Vegas were not allowed to even know about Téa's cancer so compassionate and isn't so awesome Blair could help poor friendless Téa. Nora and Téa go way back to 1997 and have a very complicated relationship in and out of court. You missed all of 98 and 99 I guess. More recently, RC had Nora & Téa sharing bonding scenes in Seattle and back in Llanview over Dani/Matthew. But when Frons ordered Dani put with Matthew, he pulled the plug on any Nora & Téa scenes, too. As for Viki, she and Téa were always close. In fact, Viki sought out Téa's help 3 separate times the last year but of course Téa was not allowed to even think of confiding in Viki about her cancer. Téa and Blair is one contrived relationship and it requires my Téa to be a helpless, weak child to prop up momma bear Blair, no thanks I prefer Téa and Nora who meet as equals and find common ground. It was a very contrived friendship and totally about poor widdle Téa who has no one so sainted
Members TeamEric
Wow, you don't recall Téa's first entrance into Llanview was challenging Nora over the Antonio case. They knocked heads big time all of 1997 as Téa was the young upstart defense challenging the experienced Nora. Then in 98, Téa hired Nora to represent her in the divorce case and things got very messy when Téa dropped the case. Nora had all sorts of advice to dispense and they locked heads over Todd several times. In 1999, Téa became ADA and again knocked heads with Nora over the RJ stuff. Téa's 2008 return was all about facing off with Nora over rapemance charges. Then Téa took Matthew's case which made for some great FL/HBS showdowns. I compare Téa and Nora to Dorian and Viki in that there is an underlying respect and in a crisis they do help each other and care about the other. Nora and Lindsay are just like Téa and Blair, catfights over a man. There was never any respect and it was all catty and petty crap I hated in female rivalries. I like Téa and Nora because they have very different values and outlooks in life and their rivalry is about two professional women ala Viki & Dorian Anyhoo, JMO. Members TeamEric
Between RC's OTT campy writing and RH's little boy act, I'm rolling my eyes with boredom, too. And I can't blame it on missing AMC as I hadn't watched it for years.
Members DRW50
I remember the horrors (glass coffin, punch, salsa dancing in a bus station, Nora raging in a bar and hacking off her hair, Nora/Sam, the cabana horrors). If I missed good bonding stuff I was too busy being horrified by the writing.
Members DRW50
I was wondering - have there ever been any scenes where Tea talks about having no friends and she only has Blair? I ask because they have made it clear, more than once, that Blair has nobody, like that awful episode which told viewers she and Dorian were going to be ripoffs of Big and Little Edie, waiting for their own JFK to save them. Then they got drunk and ended up at the double wedding. It seems like they stick Blair with Tea more because it's easier, due to Blair mostly existing in this story (whereas other characters are in their own blocs), than because they see Tea as a weak thing who needs Blair for support. Members EricMontreal22
What years was she on Edge? Imdb lists her from mid 60s till '82, and I wonder if she appeared on it while still on OLTL. That's great.

Members EricMontreal22
I did like how Tina was written today, and the flashbacks (It took me a second to realize we'd see no brief flashbacks of baby Sarah because Tina wasn't Andrea by then). Still, I'm waiting for her to mention that she didn't tell about Nat and Jared in the secret room due to Sarah's life being threatened (I guess it will never happen), and I felt bad that the eternally missing CJ didn't even get mentioned by name. Members Cheap21
They could have shown flashbacks with Cord and Sarah. Tina didnt have to be in them I almost thought for a second that Jessica was going to tell Cord that Tess threatened Sarah's life. Of course that didnt happen. Oh and C.J. did get mentioned when he was talking to Jess and said this: Cord: "Well, I remember that. I remember when C.J. and Sarah were going through it. Tina and I were, like, walking into walls. I'm sure you remember all that with Bree. You know, it gets easier. "
Members EricMontreal22
That's true--forgot about that. Just noticed how they never said his name in the scenes between them.
Members Cheap21
Yeah most of their issues dealt with being on the opposite sides of the law and their court battles. There was no deep rooted personal hate for the other. Any drama was largely rooted in the courtroom. It was a professional rivalry, not personal
Members MontyB
Wow! IMDB is completely wrong. Doris played Anna until 1976 or so. Phyllis Behar played Anna after that until the early 80's. Doris played psycho Beth on Edge in the early 80's.
