John Driscoll is so boring, he has no charisma whatsoever which is needed for JR.

AMC obviously had no interest in taming JR given how he went out so it would look ridiculous if NuAmc recast the character.

PP should have JR on the run when it starts back up.

I don't think they should recast, I'm with Marls have him be on the run, or even in a coma(from shooting himself) when the show starts back up

DAYS, IMO, has not cast one decent actor since before George H. W. Bush was President. But JKJ...? Yeah, okay. Not a brilliant actor, but I guess the days (HA!) of finding real talent in this business are way behind us.

Lauren Koslow was cast in 1996. The Clinton years. And she is a very good actress.

JY was getting far juicier material on AMC than JKJ was getting on Days. Phillip was totally underwritten by HIgley which is why JKJ left with no job and JY looks like he might actually be one of the few B&B pickups BBell might write for.

Oh, totally. I think JY would've done quite well with the material Philip had in 2007-09, though, first with Chloe/Morgan and then with Stephanie and the original Kiriakis/DiMera feud.
