I think the show is much improved but the only stories I am interested in is EJ's mayor story and Kate and Madison because they are new. I was talking to a friend

of mine who has only been watching Days for the past few years(yes a new viewer) who wanted to know who all these new characters were and what happened to all the Days characters. It makes me wonder what new writing could have done if they had worked with the canvas they had.

I've really been digging the show, and I still have yet to fast forward through anything (mostly because Melanie hasn't been onscreen)

I really wanted Jack to sucker punch Daniel though. Dr. Fabio had no right to say the things he said. What goes on between Jack, Jenn and Abby is none of his business, and I hate how he acted all holier than thou. Can Daniel be kidnapped now??

Carrie/Austin and John/Marlena have been great, and the tension on the marriages is realistic and nicely done so far. I'm also really happy that they are showcasing how close Carrie and John are. He's been more of a father to her than Roman through the years, and I'm glad the writers remember that.

Madison/Kate is awesome. Sarah Brown has fit in nicely, and instantaneously. She is definitely a keeper, and a worthy foil for Kate.

Sami/Rafe are just so bland, in my opinion. Sami has lost her fire, and I'm tired of looking at the fading embers of what she used to be. And I'm sorry, but she literally worked for a day, while at home no less, and suddently she was freaking out and becoming overwhelmed? I'm still in shock that she is a junior executive anyway. Seriously, she was a candy striper for like twenty years and she blackmailed her way into all other jobs. How the hell did she get hired?

Here's that they could have done: Nicole and EJ, Sami and EJ, Nicole and Brady, Nicole and EJ, Sami and EJ, Nicole and Brady, and then Nicole and EJ again just for the hell of it. I truly don't know how there is even such a thing as a new DOOL fan. Babies, babies and more babies, the same five people playing musical spouses..it was horrible. You will notice that since the new direction started, no one has a story revolving around some freaking baby and no one is pregnant. When is the last time DOOL was able to say that? No sick babies, no missing babies...the stories are finally back to being about adults and no one is saying "Johnny!" 15 times a day.

I wish they would've kept Chloe around. She could've easily been intertwined into EJ's storyline to and as an ally of Madison's to help stick it to Kate even more.

I felt so sad to see Chloe go. Stunning actress and there were so many possibilities left. Even Kinsey was fun to have around.

This John/Marlena [!@#$%^&*] is just so... lame It is corny as hell. Who asks for a divorce from the person they have loved because they might go to prison. Marlena will be upset and hurt regardless of whether or not a piece of paper says that you're married.
