Its sad that they never even acknowledge Adrian, as if he never existed. He could be mentioned every now and then. They could have even brought on children for him to give Opal more family/story and let him have a presence through them

P.S. I think Im going to lie to get out of a meeting at work today. Im gonna tell my supervisor I have an appointment at 1pm to try and get here for the show live...LOL.

LOL....they werent in the first draft but as I added more squares, I thought what the heck. I was gonna put Zach alone in there but thought about you ;)

Thanks! No I dont have Luner in there. I thought about it but I already have Liza represented there under MW. I know she's there twice but I thought those 2 pics (that memorable one during the teen years with Tad and Colby's birth) were more poignant than any I could put there with Luner

There's still a chance to do something with Adrian, if they sign Jill Larson to PP, and Matthew St. Patrick (I haven't seen him in a while so he may be up for it). And his father is on OLTL every so often.

I just noticed you included a small photo that has one of my favorites, Gloria Marsh. That's nice.

Some of these characters aren't well remembered but they helped make AMC for me, and I miss them:

Enid

Aunt Grace

Belinda

Adrian

Gloria

Kevin and Kelsey

Peggy

Aunt Eugenia

Rudy

and so on...

I liked Adrian a lot. I still remember Dixie flirting with him or something from out of nowhere at a family picnic. I was like, "whoa!" And at that time I hated Dixie, but they had chemistry. That would have been hot but they didn't pick it up.

I never liked Gloria or her terrifying hair. She just reminded me of a wildebeest.

I guess Cady was bored that day. It would have made more sense than other stories they had for her at the time.

Poor Gloria. But you aren't alone in disliking her.

I really liked the boarding house group at that time - Gloria, Michael Delaney, Myrtle, and, I guess I will count Laura on the rare occasion she wasn't verbally abusing people. The boarding house is such a great concept for soaps which has been forgotten.

I wish those Gloria/Ryan scenes were online.

I thought she was a little dull with Tad. I liked her with Dimitri even if that story was never going to go anywhere. I also liked her chemistry with David Canary. Her last scenes with Stuart, what wasn't preempted anyway, were sweet.

That, ah, was my conclusion as well. I think Cady took one look at St. Patrick and was like, 'yeah, okay.'

Oh, I liked the boarding house on other soaps or at other times on AMC - I could swear there was one other grouping. And I liked Michael. But I hated the original Laura. She was also scary. I loved Kelsey.

I thought Tad and Gloria was tired from the moment I first saw them running around with those kids. "Oh, they're doing this now." And then I tuned back in and suddenly, Dimitri? Really? I thought it was ridiculous. But I was also very, very wedded to Dimitri/Erica back then.

I hated Gloria with Diimitri. They made her so stupid when it came to him and they didnt quite make sense. It was so plot driven and I hated how they made him a villian. It just didnt work. Like you, I also loved Dimitri/Erica and didnt like how things were handled with him post-Erica. They should have had them reunite

I think Gloria and Dimitri had a good chemistry from their friendship and it worked in their relationship, but I was mostly just glad she was done with Tad, as that felt forced to me at the time. But by this point they had made Dimitri pretty wicked and I think he would have been killed off if Broderick hadn't departed.

One of the nice things about AMC then was the supporting people, and the characters who didn't have families, and formed families of their own. They were never going to tell any big stories with Michael, but I liked the idea of Michael and the doctor he was dating talking about their lives, and hearing the doctor talk about how he'd lost a patient when they learned he was gay. You'd never get that on a soap today.

I liked Dimitri/Erica too but I had a tough time getting past that pity sex with Maria which Dimitri seemed to enjoy a little too much. Really awful stuff. I think that was a big mistake.
