Opening night and right now I'd take the tennis match over the game but maybe that'll change.

I do wish RGIII would zip it and ESPN would stop trying to make out as if the Redskins' name is the biggest story ever. I don't care whether they change the name or not. No matter where anyone stands on it, the fact remains that the team name is used to refer to players on the team and not anyone in the generl public.

I wish all those people who defended him when the first video showing him dragging her out of the elevator and basically looking disinterested in her physical condition, who defended him by saying "we don't know what happened in that elevator," would now explain again what she might have done to merit his knocking her out like that. Not that I want to hear any of them backtracking or conveniently forgetting their original stance, but I do want to see how many will stick to their initial positions.

That video changes nothing for me. The way he dragged her out and showed no concern or alarm told me enough. Had it been an accident, I believe he would have been distressed or at least shown some emotion. And even if she had gotten some jabs in, it still would not justify knocking her out like that.

The NFL already looked ridiculous for suspending him only two games and allowing her to speak in his defense. Clearly they either know nothing and/or don't care about abusive relationships. And the judge that let him go ought to be reviewed for disciplinary action.

Truly and utterly disgusting. I don't applaud the Ravens OR The NFL for this move because they've known about it since it happened! Then for Baltimore to send out this despicable tweet is highly offending.

People were like how is she being the one made to apologize for an act of violence committed against her? Then you got the people talking about she swung -- it looked like she did a fly by that landed on his cheek or a top are of his chest and it didn't look like she hit him hard if that were teh case.

When he got in the elevator he was on her and he could have killed her if she hit her head hard enough against that rail.

Also, I love people getting up in arms at the judge and prosecutor who decided not to file charges against him but will not drop a case against a woman who carried a gun into NJ thinking it was ok because she had a license to carry in PA but didn't know the rules about carrying across state lines.
