While I love the dance moves, Nicole was having her way, but this is very lame. Brady is whack and EJ is tired. This is all you two can do MarDar?

Nicole seems to be wearing a refurbished toga.

zzzzzzz what a snooze and oddly I love all 3 characters just not together.

They should have kept Chloe and thrown her with Brady, mix Nicole up with Jack, and try out EJ with Madison

This is the last of Higley's stuff they had to rewrite correct?

I have read spoilers for the new stuff and no I don't think this is Higley. I think they have already determined pairings. I don't think thats MerDer I assume thats a Corday mandate and he seems set and fixated on couples who have to be together. I already predict Jack and Jennifer will be a couple.

They brought back EJ's tango moves. I never liked EJ with Nicole. He was so much more interesting as a character from November 2006 until about May of 2007. They ruined him when they made him Sami's errand boy. He was deliciously pitch perfect as the villain who tormented Sami and caused hell for the Brady family. I enjoyed him so very much then.

I think the problem with that was it just seemed to be more about Hogan Sheffer wanting to get more thrills out of sadism than about anything which benefited character or story. The always thrilling revival of it's-not-rape-if-she-secretly-wants-it, the pointless and baffling story about John's kidney, Stephen Nichols howling and hamming because of evil tarot cards. No wonder ratings crashed.

Its the "lets salvage/redeem the character on the back of another one". I don't hate EJ in fact I like the character but he was much more delicious to watch as a villian. And I know James Scott and Arianne Zucker have good chemistry, but she's another EJ victim and I just don't enjoy them together romantically at all. They are so much more interesting as Frenemies.

I think the real damage was to the Sami character same as Sharon on Y&R and Blair on OLTL. I don't even like her anymore she's just become a pod wife and EJ's perpetual victim.

On a side note I had actually forgotten James Scott played Ethan on AMC. I actually liked the character l lot barring Kendall. I actually enjoyed Ethan a lot more than I do EJ.

I think EJ has fooled himself into thinking that he still loves Nicole, however, ultimately he just wants a wife to look good to the media and to the public for when he runs for mayor. JMHO.
