Theory: Sonny is a "closet" porn actor... "We're not at liberty to talk about it. But he will have a very big role in that story." ...And "Liberty" is his ex-gf/co-star, who is stunned to learn he pitches for the other team. The highlights: 1) Will realizes he's gay. 2) Sonny and Will circle around each other as potential lovers. 3) Liberty shows up just as WilSon are about to take the next step. 4) Liberty attempts to reclaim Sonny by sleeping with him (plan fails). 5) Will and Sonny FINALLY declare their love for each other. 6) Liberty disrupts their plans for the future by announcing her pregnancy. 7) Sonny pledges to stay by Liberty for the baby's sake; Will is crushed, but he understands. 8) Will moves on with another guy. 9) Liberty dies in childbirth (b/c audiences have had enough of the bitch), leaving Sonny a single parent. 10) Will breaks off his new relationship to reunite with Sonny (and fans worry they'll suffer the same fate as OLTL's Kish). Members John Posted August 25, 2011 Author Members Share Posted August 25, 2011 Well I gotta give em credit they are playing it smart IMHO its better to see Will start have feelings for Sonny and coming to terms with it, then have Days say right off the bat, Sonny is Will's BF. ATWT did that when Noah showed up and had Van & Jake doing press as this couple before they even taped scenes 2gether and then fans got upset when they werent sleeping together within a week I wanna see this WilSon story happen organically Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I know it's frustrating, but isn't it better that we grow to care about Sonny (which I do, the actor helps a great deal. He's VERY endearing and likeable) and we care about Will's struggle? And I get the secrecy from Freddie and Chandler, simply because, even if Will is gay, who's to say they are automatically a couple? Reminds me of how the Dutch Soap Good Times, Bad Times did it. They brought on a character, Lucas, like Sonny, was already openly gay, a part of a "core family" but audience hadn't seen him grow up cause he was raised off camera, and it was over a year before they gave him a serious love interest. Many were frustrated, but over the course of that year we saw him interect with his family, other characters his age, so by the time he did get a love interest this past fall, he was a fully fleshed out character, we knew his personality, his likes & dislikes, which characters he got along with, which ones he didn't (and why) and now that couple is one of the most popular on the show & ratings were up. While I'm not sure id I'd want Sonny to wait a year, if DAYS is taking a similar path/strategy with Sonny/Will, I'm okay with that. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
